Default Has anybody played the new Sims' board game?
I heard that it is boring and confusing. You have like a dozen of different cards and they all intertwine with each other.

Not until it gets a hot patch fix.

But seriously, if it's emulating the Sims 4 video game, then the type of game needs to be changed from board game to bored game. YAWN!!!

Where's "yer man" now to come out and threaten, "if nobody buys this Sims 4 board game, then there won't be a Sims 5 board game."

Well, he was right in one thing, I guess. It doesn't look like we're ever going to get a Sims 5. But not for the reasons he threatened. Quite the opposite. Sims 4 and its dlc has sold so well, they just don't want to quit it. Not even he saw that coming.

Hence a crappy board game trying to cash in on the TS4 gravy train.

Honestly I thought the board game thing was a joke.

Upon looking it up, I came across the following video.

It is interesting that comments are shut off and people are not allowed to down vote.

To answer your question: Last time anybody talked about Grant, he moved across the country to Baltimore to work on a life sim game. I personally haven't heard any more about it. I don't know if said game is still being made or not.

Board games used to be right up Grant's alley. If he were still with EA, it wouldn't have surprised me if he had a hand in it.

He's making a new life sim: https://modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=684598

But it's supposed to be deeper with backstories / starting relationships or something like that.
