This user has the following games installed:

Sims 3, World Adventures, Ambitions, Late Night, Generations, Pets, Showtime, Supernatural, Seasons, University Life, Island Paradise, Into the Future
Default Please Help!! The Sims 3 – Night lighting in my custom CAW world: most lots are pitch black, two clubs are blindingly bright even after deleting lights (fine in CAW, broken after export/in-game)
Hi! I built a custom world with CAW and I’m seeing a strange night-time lighting issue that only appears after export/in-game:
• At night, most of my own-built houses and community lots are completely dark (lights don’t turn on even with a Sim in the room).
• Two specific clubs are the opposite: way over-lit/blown out.
• Important: In CAW (edit/preview) the lighting looks normal. The problem appears only after I export the world and play it in-game.

Did you manage to figure this out? Most odd, I've experienced the club gobo lighting being overly bright (usually solved by removing or changing the settings). Have you tried changing the light settings at all on the affected lights (brightness, colour etc)? Do you have any lighting mods in-game?

It can be caused by outdated or faulty GPU drivers.
In Edit Town mode save you lot to the library, bulldoze the current one and then replace it with the saved one.
