Default I've lost my discrete concrete!
Hello!

I have a humongous downloads folder, which I know I need to sort through, but I'm just not ready to let many things go. I add to it often, which doesn't help, and I run into issues all the time. If it's game-breaking, I fix it with the painstaking, tedious 50/50 method. However, I've now run into an issue I'm determined to fix without resorting to that.

I've lost my default sidewalk path, which I believe is called discrete concrete.

Isn't it easier/better to find whatever floor default replacement that's causing the floor to not show? 50/50 would work (either the file you're looking for is there and causing problems, or it's not present- Shouldn't take too long to find it.)

If you do a GUID search in SimPE then it can find duplicates.

Tools - Scan Folders

Uncheck everything but the GUID Scanner and make sure that your Downloads folder is selected.

Your issue is related to conflicting, outdated, or badly made custom content. Please follow the Finding Problem Custom Content FAQ.

If you are missing maxis content then you have cc that is overwriting it. Since it's a floor, it should be quicker since you only have to 50/50 walls and floors since they do not conflict with objects.

You may also have edited the floorpatterns.txt so try restoring that to the original.

I don't think scanning for GUID conflicts will work as floors do not have the standard GUID in the OBJD.

Oh, bugger. I forgot that floors don't have a GUID.
