Well, as I've been checking all my families for lost textures, I've come across one who has lost the beautiful eyes she once had and now has horrible EA defaults. IIRC, this can only be fixed in SimPE, right? If there's another method, I'd like to know. Now, if I can just find the eyes she had...

Okay, that was easy enough. I have the eyes, and I have SimPE, just downloaded version 75f, and it is working perfectly.
Now. It's been 15 years since I've done this. Step-by-step, please. I can get to the "Open SimPE" stage, and even find the Sim I want to modify. But I forget how to determine the incredibly long number for the DNA I want to change.
So, if you please, just start with "Open SimPE" and go from there.

Well, actually I fooled around with it for awhile, and replaced the DNA with a different set of eyes. Saved the Hood, but the eyes don't show up in-game. Still working, maybe I need to do something else.
