I've found that it is very easy for the burglar and fan visits to home lots to break. I specifically remember that the fan visits completely broke for the household after I cast Price of Fame while already a superstar (which as you recall summons several fans). I also found that the burglar never came even once when I played the game through Lutris for a while

Does anybody know why these functionalities are so unstable? All the fixes I can find online are about restoring walkby portals, but does broken portals explain why moving to another house didn't help?
And has anybody found that this is fixed in the Legacy Edition?
