Once upon a time, when I was new to pose player, I was searching the internet for animation codes and found this:

I was deeply disappointed that the information listed on that page, which shall be refered to as Wiki.php, are not applicable to actual in-game animations.

So, in my quest for knowledge about animations, I continued to Google, and eventually came across this MTS forum:

Excitedly I made an attempt at the instructions posted by spherefish on the aforementioned forum, and spent some time digging around in my files.
And I was successful.... To a degree.

For example, the Wiki.php lists these two codes:

• "a-pregnant-labor-looppainyell" and "a-pregnant-labor-looppainhowl"

Well, those codes don't actually do anything. But after a lot of staring at lines of text in S3PE I found the following two codes that actually play an animation

• "a_pregnancy_contractions2_x" and "a_pregnancy_contractions_x"

So I wanted to start this forum to see if anyone else wanted to know about a specific in-game animation code and to share your favorites.

What are some animations you wish you knew the code for, or that are your favorite in-game poses?

I like these two for picture taking where I don't want my sims to get negative relationship points:

"a2a_soc_Bad_Accuse_Steamed_Bad_y" (Posed by Holden) & "a2a_soc_Bad_Accuse_Steamed_Bad_x"(Posed by Gwen)

The reason the animations in the first list aren't valid is because they're from The Sims 2

You can list all of the TS3 base game and patch animations in S3PE by opening DeltaBuild0 and filtering by the CLIP tag.
You can also use NRaas Animator - despite being superceded by Pose Player for most features, you can browse the EA animations rather than just custom ones with it so it may be helpful while you're learning the names.

I wondered which game they were from.
Stupid google, giving me incorrect content.

I also wanted to mention, the instructions by spherefish might not be perfectly lined up with one's personal computer.

Windows/Program Files/EA Games/The Sims 3/EP[x]/GameData/Shared/Packages/[whatever file is here varies]
