Default Problem with vanilla animation in custom interaction
I’m working on a project that clones the Servo activation interactions from Discover University (pack required). The modified interactions run through a multi-step affordance chain just fine. Everything works exactly how I want it to: affordances, object states, tuning, all solid. The end result is there.

But in step 4 of the process, when the animation for activating the Servo on the Robotics Table plays, there’s a glitch.

In the original, the Sim takes a small step to the side from looking at the deactivated Servo object to align with the slot in front of the Robotics Table before the animation starts.

In my version, the Sim stays in place, therefore the hands glitch and stretch when reaching for the Robotics Table anchor points. If I swap the TuningID/Instance of the original Maxis interaction but keep the name (suggestion from a very old forum post), the animation plays fine (but other stuff get's wonky).

I can't be the first one to run into these sorts of animation glitches, so I hoped they are common knowledge and there’s already an easy solution.

The original chain of interactions starts with:
221903<!--autonomousSimPicker_HumanoidRobots_FindCreator-->
The interactions with the animation - Step 4:
223727<!--humanoid_robots_Creation_ActivateRobot_CreateFemale-->
218334<!--Humanoid_robots_Creation_ActivateRobot_CreateMale-->
