Default Missing Deluxe Edition and Livin Large objects
I istalled Deluxe Edition, Vacation and Unleashed from a disks I used years ago. I managed to make it work with a tutorial from internet. But there is a problem. There is many objects missing. For example there is no the Heart bed, a chemistry set or a crystal ball which came with Livin Large. Homever there is the deer head decoration and Livin Large careers such Music or Hacker. Also, according a disk case there should be 25 new deluxe objects and 50 new outfit. I do not see them. Many objects or outfits I remember from childhood are not there. Is there way to make them visible?

Do you have folders in your install location named "Deluxe" and "ExpansionPack"? What is in them?

Yes I have. There is files with endings: .far .hit. .hot or .hsm. For example Deluxe.far or ExpansionPack.far. In Deluxe file is only one file in the folder but in EP folder is three files which starts xpack and three filies which starts repair_vox. (For example repair_vox.hit or xpack.hsm)

Okay. I'm not sure what the problem could be, then--my first assumption was that somehow the far files were missing and so the objects in them were also missing. (That would still leave the careers intact since they're stored somewhere else and the moose/deer head would also be working since that's stored in Downloads as its own file.)

I wonder if something is keeping the Deluxe and ExpansionPack far files from loading... (The Deluxe far has Deluxe files (clearly), whereas ExpansionPack has content that came from Livin' Large.)

It sounds to me like it's time to uninstall and reinstall the game. Sadly.

I've made some mods for The Sims 1 -- yes, The Sims ONE :-) -- which you can find at http://corylea.com/Sims1ModsByCorylea.html
