Making sims in CAS, can I change the order of memories later?
Hello everyone, I have been setting up my Sims2 game on my new laptop.
Sorry, I wasn't sure if this should go in the General forum, or the Help forum, as
SimPE is involved?
So far I have made a separate neighbourhood for my favourite sims (they used to share Pleasantview with the Maxis pre-mades, on my old laptop, but I think it's nicer for them to have their own space), and I have built all their houses, copying from the old laptop by eye (running the game on both laptops).
I am still organising/culling my Downloads folder (it ended up being a big job, as I got sidetracked with default replacements, moving CC in the catalogue, making it more even by finding more male items etc.), so I am very rusty and out of practice at actually playing the game!
I have put my own music in the Music folder, and saved my Storytelling pictures from the Neighbourhoods to add later (once I suss out the numbers the game will assign to their Lots).
So now I need to make the families. I think if I remember rightly, I can make them as families when I create them in CAS (such as a married couple with kids etc.). I think the toddlers and children were straightforward.
I vaguely remember it being difficult to make babies, I think I may have to do that in game, with the Force Twins cheat (the ones I'm recreating are twins), and Roll the Pacifier until I get the combination I want (a certain eye colour for each baby, one a boy, one a girl). So I'll try that today.
I have been thinking about memories, my sims were all friends with each other before getting married and having kids, so they are in each other's Stroytelling pics of the weddings etc. I want to keep that as their history without playing through it all again.
So I was wondering, if I make them friends in game by playing a bit, can I then go into
SimPE later on, and change the order of the memories, so that the memory of making friends is before the memory of getting married?
I'm not sure if it is possible, or if it would cause problems such as corruption etc., does anyone know please?
