Default Anyone else ever wonder what Sims would look like if they were real?
I asked ChatGPT what the Morgan family would look like if they were real, with a picture based on the family right after Angela got out of Hillsborough Girls Academy (maximum security juvenile facility she was at for over a year), this is what it generated. Sone how I know I’m not the only one who has done this.

(Angela and Lily Morgan are Angela and Lilith Pleasant, post adoption. The cheerleader is Lily/Lilith!)

I somehow stumbled on a YouTube short on a channel dedicated to using AI to generate videos of Sims 4 Sims as realistic humans. It was interesting, but still uncanny.

I don't know if it's what you had in mind, but when they were younger, Tim Buckley (cartoonist) and Arin Hanson were basically spot-on Ripp Grunts.

I had Grok do the same image for comparison, and I had ChatGPT make some with changes to the uniform. I don't know, which one looks better?

I know it's not exactly what you're asking, I'm not a big fan of AIgen pictures so I thought of the opposite of the question, I made my partner in Sims 2 and somehow his face is so simmable that the sim looks almost exactly like him. I showed it to his side of the family one time, and everyone was saying it's uncanny how close it is to real life. I don't play him because of it, he just sits in the family bin to make me smile every time I open the game.

No.
But I got a little bit courious and asked copilot to help me. I uploaded a pic of the cutest toddlers I have at the moment and copilot blurred their faces and gave the girl in the background normal ears.
That was disappointing...

I don't know how to explain this, but when I see sims, I think my brain "translates" them into human features, somehow. This means I can see even the more exaggerated sims 2 faces walking around in real life, and I sometimes see people and think: "Wow they look exactly like Sandy Bruty/Carmen Patch/Gordon King (/insert sim whose face you don't like here)!" and it's not that I think they look strange or ugly, they just look like what my brain has translated those face templates to. I gave AI a try showing what I meant, but AI can't really do strong features and realism at the same time.

I think Copilot uses the same software as ChatGPT/DALL-E, and I've found (from doing this) that system is really funny about making images of fictional minors (I'm guessing to dissuade pedophiles from using it nefariously). DALL-E would make some pictures of Angela and Lilith/Lily, but when I asked it to make a picture of Lily performing stunts it said no, reason being because apparently it's not allowed to depict minors performing "dangerous" activities (I asked it to generate a picture of Lily as a flyer doing a toe touch and a liberty, not bungee jumping from the Empire State Building in New York City or illegally racing motorcycles up and down Alligator Alley in the Everglades). It won't show minors in any kind of legal situation either apparently (getting arrested, mugshots, etc). I'm guessing the blurring goes along the same lines.

Grok/Imagine is a lot less finicky about that (apparently it will shut attempts to generate CSAM down, which is a good thing, but I'm not about to test that theory).
