Default WIP - Making a Sims version of an AI lot found on You Tube
Hello!

It's been a minute since I've posted here. I found this AI lot on YouTube, and I was like WTH? Those rooms do NOT fit that footprint! But it intrigued me because it would be a fun 'fairy' home in the woods. It has a wonderful 'liquid green' atmosphere and is a much darker theme than my usual lot decor. My imagination invented lore like; found: abandoned, old print shop down in Bayou country and renovated it.

My game does not have all the stuff in the images so I am making do with whatever CC I can find. This is a work in Progress and what I've done so far.

So, here goes the inspiration photos:
As you can see from the AI photos, there is no way all that stuff can fit inside that footprint, PLUS the interior shots do NOT match the exterior windows.
It has a lovely kitchen with giant windows. Note the sloped wooden roof that is not present in the two-story building image.
The bedroom is nice and jungly looking
The bathroom would be fun to make, but I'd have to create the CC for that sink. so nada... Ain't happening right now.

Now for my attempt to make a Sim version that would actually work for Sims.

Front and side front. I had only done bare bones landscaping. I plan a nice bayou-style garden with French Quarter iron railings.
Well, I decided a bayou home needed a large covered porch to hang out on during hot summer days and evenings.

The open main floor. The living room has a partition between it and the dining/kitchen area.

And the view from the kitchen to the front door.

Various other images and floor plans:
Kitchen

Transom windows over the doors

I changed the master bedroom windows and walls and new front shot, so as you can see, it is a work in progress. I will come back and post the final decor.

Did you mean to post this in Sims 4, perchance?

Very beautiful though, I like the layout and functionality. The windows are gorgeous! For once I approve of this use of AI- used as a tool to inspire real creativity. Well done!

Default Bayou Fairy Home
Hello! Well, here is the home with a boatload of cc! And since this is the bayou, watch out for possible alligators in that pond. I took a lot of time doing a lot of finishing touches, like various wooden ceiling tiles in all rooms. The wooden floor of the second-story balcony is the wooden ceiling over the ground floor's porch.

LORE: Found an old, abandoned, stone building in the bayou and renovated it, while keeping some of the original charm. The fairies liked it and magicked 🪄 it away to Innisgreen.
(Click the thumbnail for a larger map)

Since it can be a hot bother down in the bayou, there is a shaded balcony on both the main and upper floors with large ceiling fans to keep a small breeze going. Yes, the oak tree is a bit overwhelming, to give the effect of the deep bayou, but you can shrinky-dink it after enjoying the jungly effect for better game play: In build mode, click the big trees and use CTRL and [ keys to make them smaller. I decided to remove the bulky yet shady oak tree and replace it with the Selvadoran tall ficus tree. Of course, you can use whichever tree suits your game play.

As you can see, the oak tree intrudes into the house, whereas the ficus is taller than the house and does not intrude into the house. It also has a smaller footprint. The Ficus only uses one, whereas the oak uses several grid spaces to place it.

Surprisingly, there are no bay windows for taller walls, so I faked two styles: the dining room has two smaller bay windows stacked on top of each other, with the middle section packed with decor and plants on the inside to hide the lower bay's roof tile. (click thumbnails for larger images)

The living room's 'bay window' was an architectural jump-through-hoops' to design, using triangular building structures and tall cc windows. made by Mincsim.com that I got on Curseforge.

This little beastie was made by using part of two triangular deck pieces for the foundation with standard angled walls. I used the 8-sided dome roof for the bay window's ceiling. In live mode, the inside house part of the 8-sided roof disappears.
As you can see from the image below, the chosen windows are a little large when placed on angled walls. It does stick out into the room a bit. But it does not impede gameplay. It is not noticeable when the game is running and most would never notice it until I point it out.

It's getting late here. I am trying to identify all the CC. I will be back.
