Default Townies spawning with custom content's Sim exact face repeatedly. Need help with deleting whatever causes it!
As absurd as this is going to sound, I downloaded Piccolo and his meshes a while back and thought it would be funny to have Piccolo suddenly show up in a hood with many other equally random characters.

The problem is that after a while, townies, service Sims like bartenders, and NPCs like the witches/warlocks, started to spawn with his face. Not all of them, but still... I hate it, the joke's on me.

I admit ignorance on my part, since I suspect that it's something to do with the face being a default replacer. I looked everywhere for the ArchCpol.package file but can't find it.
Is it even that?

I humbly ask for help on two things.
Clarifying which file(s) could cause the townie Sims to spawn with the Piccolo face/genes and pointing me in the direction of removing them!

Please and thank you, it's driving me nuts that my Sims are being driven to work by fleshy Piccolos and some bartenders are Piccolized and even the neighborhood's good warlock is a Piccolo. I mean, it sounds hilarious when I put it like that but it's horrible. I added a picture.

Yes, if you default replace a face template, newly generated sims will spawn with it sometimes. If you don't know where you put the default replacements, you'll have to do a binary search. You can see what the file names are in the download you linked.

If you read the download topic (which you should, always, before downloading something), you'll see they added a face default replacement for the "ArchCpol" face. You can read the info under the heading "face". Which means those files are likely to be somewhere in the zip files.

It doesn't hurt to download and open the files to see what the files come with before you put them in your game (unpacking directly to the Downloads folder without checking the zip file first can cause problems in cases like this, so be careful with that).

If you know which files are causing the problem, the easiest way to figure it out is to download the files again to check the names of the files, so you can search for them.

All the files are in the separate "Cpol Face Template Defaults" folder in the "DiekatzeMeshes2" zip file. You can search for those files in your Downloads folder (there's one for each age/gender).

You can either search for
Face Template
or
*ArchCpol
(the * searches the whole filename, not just separated words, so it can find "ArchCpol" inside "amArchCpol". Not using the asterisk skips files unless they're at the beginning or separated by for instance -_ or spaces)

Oh yeah, I think that's it! I was looking for ArchCpol everywhere in my installation instead of the full "amArchCpol" and so on, plus I didn't even know about the search with the asterisk tip. That's gonna come useful in general.

I imagine if I delete these, the Piccolization will end for future Sims, correct?

It should, yes.

Existing sims with the face template shouldn't be affected - just make sure to not have them spreading their genes about if you don't want to see more of them.

Ahh, freedom from the Namekian invasion, finally. A thousand thanks!
