Why is it that Proton Mail is banned here? This is the only site I've encountered where that's the case. The email attached to my account is an old hotmail that I haven't used anywhere in like 15+ years, but I'm unable to change it because Proton Mail addresses aren't allowed here. I'd rather not have to use an email from privacy-invading companies like Google or Microsoft.

A long time ago we had a spammer who used Proton Mail who kept making new accounts over and over again to harass people. Hence why the ban.

I think that with the current "De-Google" movement going on, and the fact that Proton is an EU company (yay!) I'm going to lift the ban on @protonmail.com @proton.me @pm.me.

Expect it to work by the time I post this message.
