Default What are your premade headcanons?
There may already be a thread like this but I'm curious - what are your headcanons about the premades?

I'll start - I have always viewed Natasha Una as autistic coded, as an autistic woman myself. The quiet, artistic, serious personality hits home to me, plus the grilled cheese aspiration giving me huge "this is my safe food" vibes.

I have a bunch, so I'll just share one I was thinking about recently. The reason why the Caliente sisters get robbed on their first night is because Gordon King has some dirt on them--possibly related to their alien ancestry and/or Bella's disappearance and/or Michael's death--and the robbery is a threat to show he means business and they should keep paying out. I came up with this because he always seemed to call a lot after the robbery. This is why Dina doesn't have any of her inheritance from Michael left and is desperate for money.

I did play the beginning of Pleasantview neighborhood through to the time when Sims 2 starts, and I developed a lot of lore for the Pleasantview/Strangetown premades based on that playthrough. For instance, Dina and Nina's parents actually raised them on an alien colony planet, and Dina met Michael there because he was abducted by aliens and brought there. There's a whole long story about why Bella was abducted and how it went terribly wrong, leading to Dina, Nina, and Bella escaping to Strangetown and Michael's death in the spaceship crash.

I was only interested in advancing their stories till their deaths, and mainly the Pleasant and Burb. The only headcanon I can think of is that Mary-Sue is a biological mother, but not a genetic one, of Lilith and Angela - she needed egg donation. That would explain why the twins look nothing like their mother, and have passing resemblances to Daniel.

Whatever implications on Daniel and Mary-Sue will never be of my concern - they are long dead in my game. If anything, I would rather clown about how John Burb have more matching facial features with Jennifer , than to her brother Daniel (the 3 all share face template 2, with slight alterations) - no wonder why their children ended up looking so good, but the girls would all have sunken cheeks as elders!

I do take requests, but only for coding.

Olive Specter (Strangetown) is not a murderer, she was framed.

I love that! I also think it's quite poetic to have both Mary Sue and her adoptive parents suffer from fertility issues and go about it in different ways.

I have always thought that Angela and Lilith were secretly adopted from another mother. Yes it would go against the memory of "having" them, but you can't argue with the obvious different looks. They possess a supernatural beauty and vitality. I haven't thought of an in-world explanation for why everyone in the Goth family looks different. "Egg-cell donation" is not something I want to have in my game as it is too invasive and technological; we don't have examples of hospitals connected to birth.

Speaking of the Pleasant twins, my headcanon is that Angela is more tomboyish than she lets on, but her parents push her to come off more feminine. Being a fishing boat captain never sounded like the dream career a preppy rich girl (as she's often depicted) would have to me.

Miranda Capp was meant to be a knowledge sim like Kent.

Vidcund Curious has no trouble with all the statistical analysis his science work requires, but can never figure out if he's been given the right change.

This one comes from my old TS3 game, and I'm not sure it is necessarily the case for my current TS2 game, but anyway: Cassandra is not Mortimer's biological daughter. Bella and Mortimer were childhood friends, and when Bella ended up pregnant and escaped her abusive ex-boyfriend, Mortimer offered to marry her and claim fatherhood of the baby to protect Bella and the baby. So they had a secretly platonic marriage for years before Bella fell in love with Mortimer and they had a more traditional marriage (and baby Alexander).

Other stuff: Dina and Nina lived in poverty as children, and Dina is absolutely determined nothing and no-one is going to drag her back there. Nina is an optimist and convinced that life will always end up happy.

Tank Grunt is gay and Buzz Grunt is homophobic.

Lola and Chloe Curious are younger than Lazlo, and the other woman in their memories is a cousin who brought them up when Glarn and Kitty couldn't cope with the idea.

I also HC a Grunt kid as queer but for me it's Ripp, she always ends up a trans woman in my game. And yes, Buzz acts as expected...

I am coming up with a few new head canons from my current playthrough. One is that Daniel Pleasant is a serial monogamist. He's one of those guys who gets involved with a woman and is so swept up that he just has to marry her, then he starts to get bored and looks for the next one. In the Pleasantview I currently have going, he's working on his third marriage.

Also, and I know this might upset some people, but Darren Dreamer is a schlub. I don't want to use the L word, but I definitely think it. He gets an easy job like gamer to pay the bills, but then he constantly rolls the want to stay home (with no secondary aspirations). He falls into bed with random women but then never calls them. He dreams of being a painter but spends his days lying around on the couch.

Brandi Broke is one of those moms who tries to be her kids' friend rather than her mother. She also relies on her kids, particularly Beau, for emotional support. She's a bit immature and doesn't have a lot of self-discipline. She stays up too late, eats a lot of sweets, and plays the TV loud at night so that it wakes up her kids in that tiny trailer. I think it's quite obvious that Dustin has been parentified in that household.

Buzz Grunt isn't actually racist towards aliens, he only hates PT9 because he always had a crush on Jenny Smith since he was a kid and never fully got over it.

Missy Grunt's mom, Mary Melons, was a lady of the evening. Missy was best friends with Kitty Hogleg so she spent much of her time growing up at the Hogleg ranch.

Vidcund Curious is the only one of his siblings who will get personally offended if someone calls them an idiot

Olive Specter isn't a murderer, she just lives near a graveyard and the Grim Reaper just happens to be an "obsessive admirer".

Ophelia Nigmos's hair is naturally straight.

Erin Beaker comes off as an airhead because she talks about weird things like psychic powers, but she's actually very intelligent and a quick learner. I think of her like a Luanne Platter with a Scandinavian accent. The only reason nobody thinks Loki's an airhead is because he doesn't talk to anybody.

Headcanons:

Brandi Broke isn't pregnant as a teenager, she is 43 in 2004, and 65 in 2026.
the reason for her abscence in the Sims 1 is she is 18, explaining the reason why.

Kaylynn Langerak is 55 in 2004, and later 77 in 2026. she looked kind of young, maybe due to some lucky genetics?
she would be 5 in 1954, which is the start of child age in the sims 3.

Teenager: 13-21 years

I forgot my headcanon for her (also from my old TS3 game): the Kaylynn Langerak we see as a child in TS3 is not the same person as the Kaylynn Langerak in TS2. The first Kaylynn Langerak died in tragic circumstances, and Parker Langerak later named his daughter after his dead sister (which is a bit weird to me, but made sense for Parker's character). Kaylynn the younger ended up low contact with her family after various relatives expected her to be just like the original Kaylynn.
