Default Hot Tea Legacy (Sims 3 Version)
This is a legacy challenge I created to add some more drama and spice to my game while enjoying the many packs and features it has to offer (that I often forget exist)! Feel free to use mods/cc in your games or play completely vanilla. It’s all up to you! In some generations, I will add some mod suggestions that I think would add to the overall experience of that gen, but it is NOT a must! Feel free to alter certain goals to suit your play style as I want you guys to enjoy the legacy and have fun! I hope you guys are ready for some drama & hot tea! 🍵
This legacy is pack heavy (I couldn’t help myself 😭) so feel free to swap out traits, aspirations and goals to something you can do with the packs you own. Some generations are more wholesome than others. Some are filled with drama! If you want to check things off your list, make a copy of the rules to keep for yourself, then you should be able to edit it!

Gen 1: The Hopeless Romantic❤️
Your natural talent for baking and decorating sweet treats made you think that you would love to be in the Culinary. What you didn’t expect was to fall in love and get pregnant so quickly. For a while, life felt perfect. Business was picking up, your little family was thriving, and love was sweet. But out of nowhere, someone else walked into your life. And just like that, your heart shifted. You never thought you'd be the heartbreaker, but… the heart wants what the heart wants.You left your partner for this new love, and soon after, found yourself pregnant… again. The bakery was booming, your kids were getting along, and your heart felt full. You were madly in love, and for once, everything felt just right. Until they walked in. Gen 2: The Other Woman
You and your half-siblings never understood how your mother could fall in love so easily. That was… until you grew up. As a young adult, you started working at the local hospital, finally living your childhood dream. You’d always loved playing doctor as a kid, and your dedication paid off when you were accepted into the junior doctors program. That’s where you met them. The one. Or at least, you thought they were. From flirty exchanges to steamy makeout sessions in supply closets, your chemistry was undeniable. You weren’t officially together, but in your mind, you were already picking out wedding venues. Everything felt perfect—until the night you hosted a work dinner. That’s when it happened. The moment your world cracked. Your "work husband" showed up… with their actual spouse.

Gen 3: Teen Pregnancy
Growing up, it was hard trying to live up to your parents expectations. Especially when they’re both successful doctors. What's even worse is that your highschool partner got you pregnant and suggested we drop out to raise the baby. Telling your parents was the scariest part. They were livid. Too scared to stay, you and your partner ran away, leaving everything behind, and had to start from scratch. You gave birth to your baby and showed it so much love, while trying to make ends meet. Once a young adult, you joined the athlete career for some stable income, but quickly realised you want to be more involved in your children's lives, so you decide to open your own gym and yoga studio. Soon enough, you’ve built a life for yourself and a beautiful family. And you did it all by yourself, without the help of your parents.

Gen 4: Brotherly Love

You dreamed of a life of true luxury, where you were financially abundant and free. You knew it wouldn’t be easy, but you had to try. As a young adult, you moved out, determined to make your own way. Using the skills you learned at home, you landed a job as a nail technician at your local spa. But barely scraping by wasn’t the life you envisioned. You needed a way in, to insert yourself into the world of the wealthy. And what better way to do so than to marry into it? You quit your job and set your sights on the political world, where the rich and powerful mingle. You studied hard, built your reputation, and quickly climbed the ranks. With your high charisma and growing fame, it wasn’t long before you caught the eye of someone influential. But there was a catch! They came from old money—and their entire family hated you. Everyone, except their brother. He seemed to have taken a liking to you…

Gen 5: The Tragic Musician
I don’t know why, but growing up, you always seemed to gravitate towards music. Your parents were super wealthy so of course they bought you the newest and coolest instruments. As a teen, you even started a band with some friends and often held jam sessions at your house. Once you left home, you decided to pursue music production, making the latest tracks for some of the biggest artists. Romance wasn’t really on your mind. Yeah, you would date around and have casual hookups, but it wasn’t until one day, you had an instant attraction to a sim and just HAD to get to know them. Your relationship was steamy, but shallow, as deep conversations were something neither of you had an interest in. You/your partner ended up falling pregnant so you decided to get married because of it. Once in married life, the relationship got toxic. All you could do was fight and have arguments. You even fought on your child's birthday. It was time for a divorce, which, your now ex-partner took everything from you, forcing you and your child to move into a dingy trailer. How did your life fall apart before your eyes?

Gen 6: Body Artist
You watched as your parents argued and argued until everything exploded on your birthday. You decide to rebel and purposely do bad in school, skip curfew, go out drinking and attend parties. Once a young adult, you decide to go to university and have casual hookups with a rotation of four sims. At a crazy college party, you hookup with all four in one night and get pregnant without knowing who the father is. This news urges you to drop out of university and raise the child on your own, while juggling being a tattoo artist. I mean, how hard could raising a child be?

- Host two costume parties
- Spray graffiti on a community lot.
- Dye your hair three times throughout your life.
- Woohoo in five different woohoo locations.
- Have a good relationship with your child/children.

Gen 7: Man's Best Friend
Everything just seems to fall into place perfectly for you. From your amazing relationship with Gen 6, to being with your high school sweetheart, the one you’re sure you’ll marry someday. You know what, why wait? Right after graduation, you land a job as an art critic (Gen 6 always asked for your feedback on their work, so why not get paid for it?) and start planning your dream wedding. You go all out, celebrating with both your family and your fiancé’s. Everything is going perfectly! Until the night before the wedding. At your bach party, things get out of hand. You get totally wasted and end up having a secret hookup with your fiancé’s best friend. The next day, unable to face what you've done, you leave your fiancé at the altar and disappear to an off the grid lot.
There, in the quiet of nature, you begin to heal. You discover a deep love for the outdoors and animals. Slowly, you pick yourself back up, learning to garden, flower arrange, and eventually open a small petting zoo that draws in locals from nearby towns. It’s not the life you planned, but it’s a life you’ve grown to love.

Gen 8: Ride or Die
You were the perfect child. Respectful to your parents, hardworking in school, active in afterschool activities, and kind to everyone you met. Everything about your life seemed on track… until you met the local teenage delinquent, the one everyone warned you about. Something about them fascinated you. Their recklessness, their confidence, the thrill they carried, it was intoxicating. Against your better judgment, you started dating, and before long, you were hooked. You knew the things they did weren’t right, but you didn’t care. Being with them made you feel alive. That was the beginning of your descent into a life of mischief and crime. You dove headfirst into their world, and together you swore, it was you and them against the world. On your first day as a young adult, everything changed. You found out you were pregnant. The two of you moved in together, and it wasn’t long before you realized your partner was deeper into the criminal underworld than you’d ever imagined. But you stayed. You were loyal. Years passed in a blur. One child became two, then three. Your home was full, and your nights were spent working in the shadows. It was a given that this life was dangerous, but you never thought it would end so soon… leaving behind children who now must navigate the world alone.

- Kill a sim.

- Once you have completed everything above and your eldest is at least a teen, you and your partner must die. (an operation gone wrong?)

Gen 9: Curse Of The Older Sibling
They’re gone. Your parents are gone and they’ve left you to raise your five younger siblings on your own. You knew you had no choice or you’d all end up in the foster care system. So you quit school and devote your life to raising your siblings to the best of your ability, putting your entire life on hold. Luckily, your best friend was there to help you every step of the way! Part time and odd jobs were definitely not enough to put food on the table, but you had to wait until you were a young adult to be able to apply for something consistent. But it seems you weren’t cut out for corporate life. So you took gigs as a freelance maker. You refused to let your siblings struggle like you did, so you do everything you can to put them through school and set them up for success. Once they’ve all moved out, that's when you can start living life!

- Have your best friend stay over occasionally to help out with your siblings.
- Go out with the family once a week.
- Eventually fall in love with your childhood enemy.
- Move them in and start a family together.
- Once each sibling is a young adult, give them $5,000 to move out with. (for an extra challenge, make it $10,000)
- OPTIONAL: cheat on your childhood enemy with your best friend and divorce.

Gen 10: The Glow Up
Growing up, you watched your parent sacrifice everything for their siblings, leaving little time or energy to focus on you. It didn’t help that you were the weird kid. The background blur. The one who never got invited. You spent your childhood in oversized hoodies, headphones in, hiding from the world and you’d often get teased because of it. But when you aged up into a young adult, you made a decision! You weren’t going to stay invisible. You hit the gym, got a new wardrobe, started posting selfies, and suddenly, the world noticed. The “you” they ignored is now the one they all want. The transformation is shocking. You become everything they said you couldn't be.
