Default Aquarium
I recently unearthed a backup of the Documents/Sims3 folder from the last time I played, including several saves from four different worlds, all dating summer 2016. So I reinstalled the game and, after a bit of finagling, got everything working. But each save gave me the message "some items could not be loaded and were replaced". Scan as I might through every home I found nothing obviously replaced, so it must have been minor indeed. But there was something missing - a nice floor standing aquarium. Probably a rebuild of a default aquarium, it had a footprint of two tiles, rounded edges, a broad shiny black band around the upper and lower edges of the glass, and a nice woodgrain base. I spent an evening searching online, to no avail; finding everything from small fishbowls to huge aquarium buildings, but not the one I seek. Does anyone remember this? or have a source for it?

One of the EP's has a fish aquarium, but I forget which. I think here on MTS is a version that allows more fish, but pretty sure it's based on the EP tank for animations, etc.

Well, I'm using a default now, must be from Ambitions, Seasons, or Generations, the only EPs I have installed. But I've no recollection from where I downloaded the one I was using (a dozen years ago? I don't remember what I did a week ago).

A week ago? Try wrangling a pre-teen and my husband, who is the one our son is a "mini-me" of!!! I go day to day... hour to hour... bottle of vodka to bottle of vodka!

Aquariums first appeared in the High End Loft stuff pack. I believe that because there were a few in the item mall, the code was patched in for everyone. There is of course one in Pets that matches their other small pet terrariums.

As for the aquarium you are looking for, I haven't seen it. There's the conversion of the one from 2 here that might work for you.

Edit: was it one of Twinsimming's TS4 conversions?

Thanks for the info. I have the Sims2 conversion but hadn't seen the other one (just downloaded it, another site for me to peruse).
