I recently completed a small project called **Mod Update Checker**, or **MUC**.

The idea is to give compatible Sims 4 mods a shared update system. Each supported mod declares its installed version, MUC compares it locally with one central registry, and the player can receive a clear notification when an update is available.

You can already browse the compatible mods in the public Registry Catalogue:

MUC does not scan the Mods folder, upload the player’s mod list, or download updates automatically.

It is only useful when a mod creator has added MUC support to their mod.

The Mod The Sims download is currently **waiting for approval**. In the meantime, the latest release is available on GitHub:
