Oh I'm getting clever! I've looked around at different friends pages on this site and noticed that everybody has a type of banner on their creators page. I thought to myself, "I want one of those! Or at least a picture or something!" So again, I got thinking about how it would be done and decided on putting up a picture of me as a sim, or as close as I could get to me as a sim. I spent oodles of time creating "me", trying to get it right, and it really does look like me, and then had the brainwave of how to get it onto my creators page. AND IT WORKED!!! I'm getting to smart for my own good I think. And to think, I didn't have to ask Jason, Vera, or Whiterider. *pats self on back* If you guys want to, could I have the actual dimensions of an acceptable banner? I scaled down my in-game picture of "me" and am using that but I think a nice banner with different poses of "me" in it would be cool. Afterall, I have that modelling hack now and I've always wanted to me a male model.

Another thing I did was try and create a realistic vacation home. Without giving too much away I think I did fairly well and I really hope it gets accepted. What would be really nice (and would make my day as I'm in a lot of pain today and kind of down) was if it was labelled as a "picked upload". I can hope.

Well I think I'm going to get out of here and go watch some Harry Potter. That seems to cheer me up while my pain meds start to kick in. I'm not in a bad mood today but just a little down. Take care everybody and have a good one.

Well Jason, I had to make a slight change to my upload. I've been having some real brain farts lately and my inline image was HUGE so I had to change it. I just got rid of it, simple change and now it's done. The pain meds aren't working today either and my cats are starting to drive me nuts. I've got the game fired up but just can't seem to get past this brain fart so I think I'm going to go have a coffee while sitting in the tub.

It looks good. As far as I know, you can go a lot bigger. You could probably Photoshop together 3 or 4 pics of various poses provided they're all about that size or a bit smaller.

Aah, the elusive picked upload. The way it's been explained to me, picked uploads aren't picked by the mods at all, but rely on a complicated algorithm involving the age of the upload, views vs. downloads (ratio 1), downloads vs. thanks (ratio 2), a a few other factors. They're really difficult to get. Don't let this discourage you. Create for the joy of creating and take pride in your work. The folks who download and thank you are aware of the quality of your work.

Don't overdo it at at work. And if they're the good kind of pain meds, send a few this way. Take care, brother.
