Taking a break

This will be very disappointing for some, but for the next year I am taking a break from creating. The end of this month marks the beginning of my final year in university and I need to focus on that.

Of course, this will be horrible, terrible news for the people still waiting on the remainder of my Manor House Collection sets and those recolors of the MH Kitchen I promised. My decision is based on the fact that school will always come first for me. With this being my last year, I cannot afford distractions.

Now, what will happen after I have my diploma in hand? I have no earthly clue.
It depends on how much I miss creating. Also, I'm sure that the pool of Sims 2 players will shrink considerably in the time I'm gone, probably due to the 2 or 3 TS3 EPs that will have been released during that time. So, my decision will also hinge upon what level of interest there is in Sims 2 objects.

I'm not retiring, though. At least not now. But, I can't say I'm definitely coming back, either. For now, just don't expect anything from me in the coming months (I say expect because I might post some things here and there during holidays, but that isn't a promise).

I hope you did fabulous in university and just want you to know that I've just downloaded every single bit of your collections. They are amazing and I don't know how I could have missed them before. Would love to see you come back some day but that's up to you. As for S3... I installed it, it crashed my brand new computer... I'm sticking with S2.

Hey!! I totally understand where you are coming from. I'm in uni too, so I understand what you're going through. I do want you to know that I am one of the few who still has not gotten TS3, I really don't plan to either. So when ever you are ready to come back I will be one of the few waiting to see what you have new!

I miss your creations! Especially since switching over to TS3. The only thing that could make it better is to see your items in that game. Hope you'll come back and give TS3 a chance. It's awesome! You're awesome!

Your work is absoultely gorgeous!! I just got S2 last month and I've got Open For Business, HM Stuff, Celebration, NightLife, and Kitchen and Bath, so I am DEFINITELY interested in new stuff you make. I loved the arch you have in the screenshots of the Dirty Pretty Things Bathroom, do you have it for download?

First of all, good luck on your spring semester! I was planning on asking if you had any plans for making the MH collections for the sims 3, but after reading I have my answer. I LOVE those collections and make nearly all of my Sims 2 houses with them. They are beautiful. Anyway, thanks for all of your creations and if you ever do decide to play/create for the sims 3 remember that your fans would love MH converted for the Sims 3. Really wonderful creations and good luck again in your schooling and future career!

I'm a bit late to the show, but I liked your furniture sets. They're gorgeous.

Wow, senior in college? Congratulations on making it that far... good luck with university. Of course, your offline life should come before virtual stuff.

I understand the importance of the last year of school, seeing how I just finished mine. I will greatly miss all your beautifully made objects. To bad you could not get at least one more part of the Manor house collection up loaded, but you have to have your priorities in order. I wish you the best of luck. I will eagerly a wait your return. You truly are the best.

School is definately a priority, it's for the rest of your life. Some silly game will always be waiting for you and your spare time. Good luck with your studies and I hope your graduation goes well finding you at the top of your class.
