Hi, ICU. I haven't finished the skyscrapers yet, still trying to get windows to look good on the buildings. The water tower I'll make available soon. I've been trying to make a Porsche 911, but I don't know what I'm doing wrong because the car disappears as soon as the sim gets into it, you just see the shadow and she's floating on air.
This journal is a mess, I can't start different topics on it. If you look in other people's journals they have various headings, I should also be able to do it, but they removed that feature.

Love your water tower.

Some pictures showing more buildings, a new water tower, a new cooling tower, a stadium which I'm using at the moment just as a reference, I want to build my own from scratch. I'm stuck without CAW, can't work on my new world.

The service centre is starting to take shape.

I've made a vise grip, a work bench and 2 engines. The first engine is
holy. I managed to patch most of the holes on the second engine. The
first engine hasn't got a sump and it stands on 2 bars. For the second
engine I've been trying to make some sort of engine stand. It will
improve as time goes by. The benchs can be linked back to back to make
it into a longer bench.
I want to achive a matt black finish for the engines, but no luck so far.

The shelf looks great. I'm sure you'll improve the pattern.

Hi ICU, this is the shelf I was talking to you about.
I'm also working on a work bench and a tire rack.
I just need to get this pattern right ! I want to use the same pattern on the work bench.

Hi CatOfEvilGenius
Nice to have you on my journal.
I think, speaking under correction, ICU means the question I made earlier on about being able to edit the comments in this journal and the posts being back to front. It's a real pain not being able to edit/preview what you're putting on.
Back to your statement. I've been ( in the meantime ), making loose engines, tires, forks and all different bike parts to go into the service centre. I want to make some racks ( for tires ), some work benchs ( engines, bike parts ) and a stand ( the pictures I got from ICU in the Fairview thread ) to put whole bikes on them, to pretend they are being serviced and some shelves ( oils, parts, etc ).

Hi ICU, I've owned 3 Kawasakis in my life time.
All these pictures are from the internet and they are very similar to my bikes. Unfortunately all the picture I have of my bikes, I'm sitting on them, so I can't show them.

The z900 was my first Kawasaki. I modified it quiet a bit, 4 in 1 pipes, half a ferring, shocks replaced, lower handle bars. The paint work stayed original.

The z1300 was a dream bike, smooth as silk on the road. I kept it virtually in it's original state, all I changed were the back shocks, I replaced them with SW gas shocks. The paint work was also original.

The gpz100, hot as hell, 240kms/h top speed. I bought it second hand. The whole buy was immaculate. Much better looking then this one in the picture. This one looks terrible as a matter of fact. Very neglected.

Carlos What an ambitious project! Good to see you devoting time and effort to it. Many people are daunted by large projects, but I think those tend to be quite satisfying when you finish them. Happy creating!

ICU What question are you referring to? The one about bike posture here?
http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=409546

It wasn't answered because no one in the sims community knows the answer yet. Animations and poses in Sims3 are not yet understood. Echo and Mootilda are among the most knowledgeable modders out there. They both tried to help. HP has personally welcomed Carlos here and wished him happy creating and simming.

No one here wants Carlos to go away. We would like him to use the forums appropriately, and use his journal for non-forum stuff, like he's doing now. Asking someone to follow site and forum rules is not an attempt to make them go away, it's just asking them to follow the rules, like everyone else.

Carlos, that was a good question but no definite answers, no commitment.
They just hope you forget it and go away.
I would like to see the middle picture deleted as it's not a Kawa.

Hi ICU, I saw that yesterday. The engine is slightly different and has cooling fins. It looks like a 6 cylinder though. I wonder what it is ?
The top picture is of a KZ1300, but what a muscular looking bike, looks mean !!
I wonder how they managed to alter the drive shaft to accomodate such a mean looking back tire.

Carlos, the middle picture is not of a Z1300.
