Description: About my creations and what I'm up to in the Sim World!

Working on several projects, but this is one of them:
Poly count is currently 6500 faces. Really high for my tastes. But if I reduce it, the curls will look blocky.
Still looking at some transparency problems and some issues around the hairline.
I just wanted to let you know that I created a frohawk for TS3, and I've already gotten a few accusations that I ripped you off. So, to avoid any misunderstandings (especially from hearing about this first from a third party), I just wanted to make contact with you.
First of all, I loved your TS2 creations, and I have nothing but respect for everything you've contributed to the CC community as well as your generous creator policies. I feel strongly about having diversity in the game, so your dreads, afro puffs, and afro were all some of my favorites and heavily used whenever I played TS2.
Second, I swear that I didn't use any part of your mesh or textures when I made my frohawk, and if I had, then I would've happily credited you.
I had seen your frohawk hair before during the GoS Advent when Nymphy recolored it, but I honestly didn't look at it for a reference when I was making mine. I was using RL pics of frohawks to model mine, and I only ended up arriving at the final proportions (which are similar to yours) after a lot of trial and error and editing down. (For reference, pics of my frohawk are here and here. )
Anyway, I hope that you can see the differences in the meshes and that this clears the air in case there's any misunderstanding, either now or in the future. Also, I hope I didn't come across as standoffish or anything. Again, I totally respect you as a creator, and I'd be extremely bummed if there was any bad blood between us.
Oooh, this could go ironed straight or kinky and curly! Hope folks will make lots of recolors. Lovely!
But not to be released? Awww. I understand the drive to make it perfect. I agree the poly count is somewhat scary. If you could just selectively poly decimate in the flatter areas, while leaving the high curvature ones alone, I bet it could go way down. Don't like the poly decimator that comes with MilkShape. :/ Someone, write Nouk some better meshing tools! Get on it, people!
