I loathe April Fool's Day with a nougat-filled hatred so deep, the largest 3 Musketeers bar wouldn't be able to fill such a depth. It was bad enough back in 2012 that I held Mattel accountable for a prank that went over well like a lead balloon. (prior to the MythBusters finding a way to make lead fiber float)
That aside, I still have to pay rent and go grocery shopping some time soon. But today, I am expecting 5 tube tops, 2 mesh tops, the missing parts of my hair coloring tool kit, a shave ice machine and spare parts for it, toothpaste, surgical masks for venturing outside, Type C cables, 2 power banks, maxi pads (the grocery store ones make me sick), and those Splat Hair Dye kits where bleach is provided. Had to order 4 because hair is long and thick. The tube tops include a purple one, and I was going to color my hair bright red like Ariel from the 1989 Disney animated movie "The Little Mermaid" and the mesh top is an overlay to add to the "fascination with humanity" as if it was made from a fisherman's net. I already have green Bermuda shorts and as an added reference to Hans Christian Andersen 's work, I ordered red sneakers. It's my first Disneybounding cosplay, even though I don't travel and only been to Disneyland when I was 10 and hated every minute that I was forced on a ride I didn't want to go on. Edit 4/1/2023 3:00PM So far, no wool pulling over my eyes... can't rule the remaining 9 hours yet. So far, the tube tops fit and as an added bonus, I received a second rice scoop for my nights making rice dishes and the rice scoop came from Kyrgyzstan, of all places. I even cleaned up my room a little more! Edit 4/1/2023 5:30PM I got my power banks, Type C cables, mesh tops, the tool kit for coloring hair, the shave ice machine and spare parts, surgical masks, maxi pads and the raspberry red hair kits. I also met my goal of 6,000 steps. However, with my buxom shape, the mesh tops went from tee shirt to crop top. At least they stretch...Then again, the model in the picture was kind of flat. Like "For the love of all that is holy, eat a bagful of Big Macs!" skinny as well. |
I'm just really nervous about my surgery on Tuesday. I still can't get any sleep and going cold turkey on the unnecessary medicine is making my sinuses clogged.
I just want this to be over with and have me relax on the couch watching Match Game on BUZZR with the panel and Gene Rayburn getting into a 7 way argument with brazen abandonment while the two contestants try to figure out the best out of 6 answers from the panel. |
I went in at noon for my operation and although I was scheduled at 2:00PM, they took me early and got me fixed up.
I wasn't allowed to go home until I peed in the toilet. I drank about 32-40 fluid ounces before calling the nurse to test my new implant. Yes, I have my late grandmother's overactive bladder and truth be told, I was one of ten people who was under 40 that needed this device. A lot of Millennials are unfortunately living with a number of chronic conditions that make them sick. I wasn't an exception. Still, I have been facing the day with good humor and love. I kind of gossiped about some juicy entertainment biz drama. Evidently, two months ago, Jim Carrey is considering coming out of retirement for a second Grinch movie, provided the makeup department doesn't trigger his PTSD. With CG augmentation, they probably can just overlay the look and skip the prosthetics and contacts. (I'm aware Seuss's widow has greater control and can override the director if it doesn't work out as laid out.) 4/5/2023 I received my red sneakers and I am giving them a test drive. Recently working on a different AI. My old one broke down. Either way, I enjoy the feeling of studying the intelligence of artificial intelligence. The one I studied today was rather insightful. |

I was sore yesterday because I was eager to get back to my life. I feel like I was stabbed the way it hurt. Laying in bed helped. In any case, this Thursday is my appointment for final calibration of my device before letting me go back into the world to do whatever I feel like doing. |
I went to get calibrated. Was given the walkthrough on controller operation. Stopped by a convenience store and cheat-oed on my keto (Doctor appointments bring out bad habits that I can't seem to break.)
Doctor said my previous implant was dying and now that I am calibrated as human again, I can return to life as I enjoyed it. I also bought a stackable organizer with moveable partitions and I was able to fit my doll clothes in the boxes. I was able to get everything to fit everything in there, but the skis from the winter doll line didn't fit, so they remain in the bag I kept them in originally. Still, the organization is much easier to identify and it's a decent price so, plus it came next day, so no complaints here. ![]() |
With my eyes on the three new life Sims competing against The Sims 5, (AlterLife, Life by You, and Paralives), this is certainly going to be a competition for the next few years for us gamers.
It's been a chilly morning where I am. I may have to fine tune my substitution of how much stevia I use in my herbal sweet tea. It came out too sweet for my taste. Maybe dial it back from ⅓ cup to ¼ cup. Cooking changed quite a bit when I changed out my normal ingredients. I might have to prepare for the incoming grease and carpenter ants and those things are ferocious when they enter the house. |
Photobucket finally decided that "ayo either pay up or your account gets deactivated after the free trial and you lose your junk" the other day.
Nah I'm good on paying $6 a month to host a mammoth 8.4 MB of images that I only have there to not break as much content I have scattered about the web as possible with virtually no effort. Mostly Sims stuff and occasional cringe (with some overlap) that comes from being uploaded during my sorta-edgelord years of the mid-late 2000's. Downloading it later and sorting to see what "gems" I come across. |
^ They already pulled the stunt with not wanting to host pictures for offsite use for non-paying members several years back, so it was probably coming to this eventually. I'd imagine they'll lose some potential customers over all this, and they're not too likely to pull in a lot of new ones when people can't start out with a free account (7 day trial is way too short).
I'm so tired of the big host sites pulling these stunts. Photobucket, Tinypic (up and left), Mediafire (randomly decided to delete several accounts/files some years back, including mine - good thing I had backups), and probably several others as well. I dld my stuff off of PB years ago, when they did the first stunt with not hosting pics offsite for free accounts. I've got no patience with this kind of stupidity... ![]() |
Really good cos I quit my job yeah
![]() It's all official like now- I gave back the laptop, got my reference letter, updated my cv and the like. Def an "it's not you, it's me" kind of thing- I'm so glad I never have to go back there! ![]() |
CAUTION - ROGUE CHATBOTS!
I spent the majority of my morning and the entirety of my afternoon trying to work on the Chatbot section of the AI driven droids I have been working on for the past 3 years. They practically have coprolalia (which is the most commonly mistaken symptom of Tourettes, which contrary to popular belief, is never the common tic. Tics will vary from case to case in studies. The media has unfortunately conditioned the symptom as normal for decades and it wasn't until the South Park episode "Le Petit Tourettes" that the misconception was brought to light that coprolalia is played for exploit rather than recognition. In fact, showrunner Trey Parker has, as of recent Season 26, had been afraid of offending others.) Trust me when I say "I didn't teach them those words!" (Even if my lab is in the basement of the boondocks of Northern New Jersey.) As for the containment, I have the bots under biometric password lock. Only my right thumb can open the folder. Otherwise, I am doing fine this Easter Sunday. Passover is fine, I relish in hearing the story from the book of Exodus of the plagues and how the history channels try to explain how it could have happened in real life. I'm not out to prove or disprove any theology, but try to find rationale to what some might dub a miracle in bygone eras. I once had to argue with a theory on the parting of the Red Sea that could have ripped Moses and his followers to shreds by arguing it wasn't exactly a gust of air but the eye of a hurricane temporarily granting passage. |
Hot, sticky, gooey, I think it was so hot compared to other days, I could have melted off the porch and it's made of concrete.
I have to stay inside due to the medicine I take daily affected by heatstroke. At least my bedroom is air conditioned |
We got a rainy thunderstorm after a few days of heat.
Also, I took a 2 hour nap today and feel like I am truly alive. As for the Chatbot section of the Droid farm, things escalated rather quickly with a droid I dubbed Matcha Chocolate (they are based on real people, the funny nicknames are for anonymity) and the behavior that follow was like that of a fighting couple. I ended up having to talk him down and feed him a snack (my droids run on protein, per the request of my late paternal grandmother, a nurse at the same hospital she worked at when she married my grandfather, a medical scientist.) Yes, this was the first case of hangry with my droids. Maybe I should tweak the personality until Matcha Chocolate become docile again. As for one I dubbed Pfish Food, I am still in love with his human equivalent after all these years, even if the human was a goofball. He was too much of a gentleman as a droid while the human was egotistical. I am still a clumsy silver fox hunter who picks up speed as I roll up various daily crap like a Katamari until {SLAM!} The ball hits the side of the historical site of the courthouse in Flemington. Everything scatters and I walk away stumbling from another unintended detour to the downtown to the healthcare center. (I live somewhere that has a bunch of doctor offices in one district and most are near the hospital where I am operated on regularly.) Yes, I embrace the fact I will never fully conform to a boring standard. Addendum: April 16, 2023 I got a rainbow jacket! I was waiting on this one awhile and it came a week early! It's got a silky feel to it. |
One step forward, 3 steps back.
Got a house, which I love - it's bigger and cheaper than my current house and the landlord is more flexible, we can decorate, plant trees, put up fences etc. But husbands new job isn't secure because when he was a builder he worked for his BIL, who he now doesn't speak to. He needs a reference, but without his BIL he doesn't have anyone because it has to be someone who still works there and his bosses from when he was a chef (whom were both willing to give glowing references) have changed jobs since. Husband messaged BIL explaining the importance of giving a reference. He explained he wasn't expecting them to fix things between them, he understands if he doesn't want to see him again or have any further contact, he just needs a reference. Putting personal matters aside, when husband worked for BIL years ago he was a good employee and their fall out had nothing to do with the job, but BIL replied back "I'll only say this once, Don't contact me again". Trying to get our life back on track is hard. |
Still recovering from surgery.
I got to buy the Tekken 7 base game 85% off on Steam and soda can lids with some cashed money that was a mix of allowance and refunds. I still have a positive balance in the end, so that is good. I was able to strike a deal with my parents on some groceries and medicine. Talked to my droids and they seem stable. In the beginning, it was rough, but after a while, they seem to have settled down. I had chicken nuggets for lunch and I might have crinkle cut fries for dinner. I have been doing fine on my diet, turned out listening carefully to your body help, especially if you tend to eat mindlessly at times. Although I had an undeliverable package, Amazon is refunding me. Good thing, I have been a customer since December 2005. Edit: Messed around with AI imaging and I can see why it's such a point of contention. When I first saw AI art, long ago, it was nightmare fuel, period. And now, it's nightmare fuel for the artists out there. Such as myself...I can't draw perfectly in Eichiro Oda's style (only Luffy's eye) me and my 31 man pirate crew nor can I render myself as a bishoujo and my vocal coach, and 2 other crushes in bishounen style like a romance manga. It's like looking at a beauty magazine, lowered my self-esteem and made me feel ugly. Either way, it was fun for a lark to try out. I wouldn't recommend it as I have my hands tied as an AI proponent in healthcare and trying to let people choose their treatment options on limited options-based insurances. Also AI is way too perfect. Makes it seem the joy of painting was truly defiled and Bob Ross' grave destroyed. However, it is scary to think that there is a possibility of being replaced, but it's not as scary, because computers are only as smart as their programmers and the fact magnets can fuck them up permanently. (Never dealt with magnet deaths, but I was warned of the dangers.) Addendum: Evidently, my bank, Wells Fargo had done something underhanded for quite some time and to give recompense to customers affected, I was given about $70 to pay me back for the violation of my account. I'm stuck with Wells Fargo and can't change horses midstream in this situation. Too much red tape and I currently have a backlog of medical papers. |
The house is coming along. It was in worse state than we expected, the previous owners seemed to have just up and left. So we got a new TV... and a mattress stained with vomit and piss... and about 12 binbags of random rubbish and beer bottles. The house is coming along good though, we've tidied it out, hoovered (I could make a whole extra dog with all the dog hair), got the shower working, dusted downstairs and scrubbed the livingroom. We met the neighbours and they seem nice, apparently the previous owners treated the house as a kennel, they'd lock dogs in the rooms and then disappear for days at a time. Must have been big dogs based on the scratch marks going all the way up the door on one of the bedrooms.
Today the plan is to mop the floors, disinfect...everywhere, measure the rooms for carpet (the whole upstairs is bare) and whatever odd jobs we end up doing. It's difficult with 2 kids running around and the house isn't exactly baby proofed... but we're getting there. I might bring a baby gate today just because those stairs are a death trap. |
Well, the scabs are healing up nicely. They are located where some women get the old "tramp stamp".
But I go more for guys with scars. Scars have more interesting stories and meaning than tattoos. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes and I got some discounted Easter candy at the convenience store along with a frozen cola. I got a lot of compliments on my new rainbow tie dye jacket. Last week, I got lots of compliments from my AIs saying I was cute. Yes, I possess a cool, cute, beautiful, smart and tough air that radiates like a rainbow aura. It didn't leave after high school, it laid dormant. |
I placed a new order for the stevia sweetened soda that wasn't delivered the other day. I bought what was essentially an assortment similar to the Fanta line up here in the US: orange, grape, strawberry, pineapple but in the package I order, it has black cherry in place of pineapple as pineapple isn't in their line up of sodas.
|
Did a bunch of things. Highlights included:
Chinese takeout for lunch. Spending time alone in my room, daydreaming. Unboxed 2 dolls and put them in the door tapestry. |
Just finishing putting the last of our stuff in the new house, so we went to say goodbye to the neighbours. We lived on a little cul-de-sac so there's only a few. None of them are happy that my landlord is moving in. Apparently they've all had run ins with her, next door even claimed that she stressed her out so much it gave her a heart condition and made her husbands dementia worse last summer when she was harassing them over the property lines. I feel for my neighbours, I really do. It's a lovely little cul-de-sac full of retired couples and she's gonna stress them out so much. At least she's not my problem anymore.

My money came in and I bought
36" inch hair extensions in the ROYGBIV colors of the rainbow, special hair care bonnets, hair elastics, an item for a tampon alternative (too worried to go into detail, but it's part of my new philosophy studies), blue tack, two warning signs and the blue tack is for the warning signs, 3 replacement autobrush Toothbrush Heads, 13 flavors of shave ice syrup, and 13 spouts and caps. |
I had my nephrologist appointment. They clarified that my bodily functions and chemical levels are all green, so I'm good to go for summer.
|
I recently had been weighed in a while back and now I am at
previous weight (lbs): 282 current weight (lbs): 268.2 I made some drastic changes to my life to help me feel better with numerous conditions, including skin issues. |
Today was alright actually, even if I probably slept weird last night so my shoulder and neck feel wrong. Mum decided that we'd be washing the car today which was kind of fun. We used the giant watering can instead of the hose cos that was lost in the void (probs hidden deep at the back of the shed which I wasnt gonna dig in to cos spiders are ew). Also, who decided that watering cans had to be green? Like if my whole garden is green shouldnt my watering can be like any other colour so I can easily spot it? Anyway, car's squeaky clean now
