Okay, but the eyebrows REALLY change her look. If I make them lower, she doesn't look so haughty IMO. I'll change her eye color, I suppose Marietta will get her eyes from mystery lover father side. ;P

Edit: Okay, took your suggestions and changing eyebrows actually does look really good. Same with eye color. I made her nose more 'hooked' and I think it changed a lot. And I don't think they're chavvylin's they are lemonleaf's.

I just think she looks too nice and that may be in part because of the eyebrows.

I don't mind using Kanno's skins as long as everyone agrees with it. Maybe to have a more precise idea make a comparison pic with aikea guinea skin and one with kanno skin?

I don't really like Kanno skin, IMHO Kanno skin makes sims look "dirty" when I used to have it.
Like if they has some dirt on their faces, and the shading around the nose area really bugs me too. It's like all the noses sort of look pudgy. If that makes sense what so ever.

Ok i tested the skins out and they are pretty much the same to me so i used the same skins as Lia i finished everyone up and put them in the completed inhabitants thread made by deluxe. Lia, can't wait to see the new lilith, the new de luca and gabriele. As for niccolo I was suggesting that he was an elder when he died. It would be really best to make all the character involved in Lilith story dead, only the child would be alive but really old now. That helps set up lilith story as an old story that everyone almost forgot or at least tried to.

Okay, I'm finally done writing bios for SimGirlTasia's characters. Feel free to tell me if you'd like to add or make changes to anything:

ANTONIO ORTEGA - Antonio is a simple guy who leads a simple life and it doesn't take much to make him happy. On a regular day you may find him spending time with other members of his book club and when things get rough, he heads for the beach to gather his thoughts. He can be quite sensitive at times and his neighbors have learned to watch what they say as he tends to get emotional when reliving memories of his years as an army vet.

ANITA TORRES - Having grown up without a father, Anita finds herself dealing with serious abandonment issues. It's hard for her to trust people and although she's had a few romantic entanglements in the past, none had been able to last because of her fear that men may leave her the way her dad had left her mom. She now focuses on her career as a lawyer and ends up with a different guy every night.

CARLOS MENDEZ - If you ask his neighbors, they'll tell you that Carlos is a decent, well-mannered individual. He's got a smile that gleams with perfection and silly quirks that children may find entertaining. But behind this cheerful facade is a dark secret that he's never told anyone. Is he making cherry pie or is that a bloodstain on the sleeve of his shirt?

NADIA VEGA - Nadia is the epitome of perfection. She never settles for "good" when she can have the best and when it comes to men, she expects no less. This is why she married Dante Mancini, the man of her dreams. He is everything she could ever hope for and when he proposed to her over a candlelit dinner amidst Spanish violinists, she just knew that he was the one. The diamond ring certainly made saying "I do" a lot easier.

DANTE MANCINI - A true gentleman, Dante embodies the characteristics of a knight in shining armor. He has always been inclined to help those in need which is why he has decided to pursue a career in law enforcement. He spends his free time working out, fighting for animal rights and spending time with his wife who means the world to him.

TALULA ALVARO - Talula thinks that her family may be cursed. She has lost almost all of them to the sea and now fears being anywhere near it. She hopes to become a surgeon one day and currently works as a waitress at the Swordfish Bar & Grill to pay for med school. It's by the sea, but her roommate Anita tells her that what does not kill her can only make her stronger.

RAUL COSTA - Raul is the proud owner of the Swordfish Bar & Grill, a local hangout frequented by the working class citizens of the town. He's put on some weight in the past few years and is known to be a heavy drinker. No one can leave a bottle of beer alone with him because it is sure to get emptied in a matter of seconds. The same can be said about valuable items in his vicinity. One of his waitresses has found this out the hard way when she left her wrist watch on the counter.

CECILIA COSTA (Raul's wife) - As the founder of the Charitable Housewives Associaton, Cecilia devotes herself to her neighborhood and is usually involved in weekly fundraisers with other women to help the less fortunate. She is seen as a saint by many but not many people are aware that she has been spending more time with Carlos Mendez than her own husband.

LEONA COSTA (Raul's teen daughter) - Following in her mother's footsteps, Leona is always taking part in town gatherings and enjoys being the center of attention. Girls want to be her and guys want to date her. But what happens when they find out the truth about her mother?

JULIEN COSTA (Raul's child son) - Julien has always been quite smart for his age and while most grownups see this as a good thing, other kids tend to pick on him for it. He doesn't mind, though, because he'd rather spend time with his butterfly collection than hang out with a bunch of brats.

HERBERTO CASTILLO - Herberto comes from a long line of talented Italian chefs and prefers to grow his own vegetables as he believes that if he wants something done right, he's going to have to do it himself. He also despises the latest gadgets simply because they make things easier for people. As his father once said, "If it isn't hard, it isn't worth it."

Hey y'all! I'll first comment Charming story and then I'll edit my post to add the commentary on the latter posts.

Charming, you really did an awesome job Here are my comments:
Antonio, nadia and anita are very well-written. I especially liked the way you introduced Carlos There's one trait that could maybe be changed it's the absent-minded trait for Carlos. I don't know why but I can't picture an absent-minded able to be a successful murderer. He would needs to be really focused to hide his secrets.

Dante's knight thing is nice too, I just have to find his traits to compare though. Maybe develop a little more talula story to emphasize the mystery behind the "said" curse? Loving raul too, nothing to change except maybe introduce his family and since he's the head of the sword fish so probably a very high cooking carrier would be better?

I really like the affair story too. Maybe change one of the protagonist and have her cheat with her husband rival, the chef of the pizzeria, herberto... Carlos would probably try not to draw attention to him and having an affair is not wise. The rest of the family and herberto are perfect.

Edit: Lia, for Lilith you might want to change her LTW (surrounded by family). It's weird since she basically neglected her first daughter/son. She sure has reasons but still, I don't picture someone with this kind of wish doing that.
Your Gabriele, santino and marietta are perfect, nothing to change I also love a LOT more the new de Luca. Is Lucio a teen too? Could you maybe make one of them a kid? Maybe also make the parents adults rather than young adults since they have already teenagers. You'll have also to write all your characters stories like Charming did when you'll find time.
I'm looking forward to see the Campbell's family !

The costa family is already great but would need some little changes. I, love Raul how he is, I just think Leona and Cecilia would need some work on their facial structures. Tell me if you'll need more feedback on them, I can do that. I'll need their traits etc too.

Lana: i do think the absent minded thing might not be the best for him since i'm very absent minded and i know i would lose focus if i try to kill someone lol. I was actually going to post about Raul's family...My game shut off last night and i don't think they were saved so most likely i will have to do them over... But i checked out their genetics while i was ingame last night and all seemed right boys looked like Raul and the girls favored their moms look Hence the wide cheeks at teen age but when and YA and Adult stage they do get better i will post more pics on the new one if the old ones are gone but i still have their daughter Leona so i can post pics of her life stages for you to see

I know the game usually make the boys look like their father and the girls like their mother. Could you maybe do the opposite? When you'll be able the traits would be nice to have. I always compare the sim to his traits to see if it fits.

Yea most likely it will be later on today after i do my running around i will get them all done up again and maybe make them look a little different this time... Also i noticed that when i make kids for Raul that his children have a sack of skin under their lip until they are teens... i thought it was b/c of their father being on the heavy side but i have no idea have to figure that out... and i can imagine how writing in a different language is i can't even write proper English most of the time

Lana - I'll work on the rest of Talula's story soon. I was thinking of leaving bits of info in her bio as well as in descriptions of certain locations such as the beach and maybe the museum so players can sort of put the pieces together and assume what had happened. I agree that Raul should be in the Culinary Career. I'm not familiar with the job titles but Level 8-9 would probably be good so he can be Talula's boss.

Having Cecilia cheat with Herberto would be interesting too. The reason I mentioned Carlos, though, is so we could give a hint that perhaps the reason he killed someone is because that person had caught him with Cecilia. And to protect their dirty little secret...he decided to put the witness to rest. I know, he's creepy..lol

SimGirlTasia - Cecilia should definitely think before she acts, considering how small the town is and how fast word gets around. I wasn't sure whether to name Raul's family members but I'm glad you like them. I like the fact that you made Leona look like her mom since they are alike in more ways than one and Julian is really cute. And yes, Herberto does look like Don Lothario...lol

Lia - You did a great job on the De Luca family. I'm looking forward to reading their stories and James's wife sounds like she'd be the type to hang out with Nadia and Cecilia. Perhaps they could all be members of the Charitable Housewives Society?

I would prefer the mum to still be a young adult, because I sort of have a story that she had a child while she was very young. So could Camilla be a YA and Leo be an Adult? And I will make Santino a child (= Fix Lillith's LTW as well.

And Charming, that would be cool..but the only thing, the Campbell housewives are very shallow. But I'm sure James II wife would be part only for the social status. James III will be single (=

Lia, don't hate me but... all the Campbell family are definitely not townies. They are still living in the country where lilith was engaged with james, the one she flew away from. So it's only James III that arrived in our town to find out about his grandfather's story. All this time I thought you talked about James III and his wife and kids.

And for the Charitable Housewives Society, well, I agree with charming. It's usually just a facade to allow rich people to meet with each other without being bothered by poor people (hence the high fees). We will probably have to build it. Do they have these kind of society in Spain? Sounds really English but why not.

Edit:A little bit more explanation. It's not that I don't want them to be on the town, it's just really not realistic at all. We agreed that Lilith flew without saying where. Imagine how hard it is to be find someone that could be anywhere in the world. There was a very small chance that someone one day succeed but we explained it by saying that james III was a traveler who was obsessed with his grand father story. So he may have brought his very close family with him but I don't see the whole family moving just because he found a trail.

Tasia, have you succeeded in getting rid of the chin bug? It's such a weird thing. I've neither seen anything like that. Good job on Leona and Cecilia . Could you just make them look a little bit different? They almost look like tweens. Maybe she could inherit some of her father's structure.

HP, your sims are wonderful, really unique features! :lovestruc They'll fit very nicely with our town. I can't wait to see the other sims you're going to come up with.

HP: your sims are great i love them so unique... also I love Anatomically Correct skin tones so i'm going to give those a try.

Lana: I have narrowed the chin thing down but can't get rid of it. its from Raul being a big guy even though Cecilia is kind of big she isn't as big as him and when they mate if the kids are not going to be heavy they get that chin bulge until they are teens. i may slim him down a bit to see if that helps. I also tried to make their daughter inherit some of her dads genes but all she gets is the nose or the lips her face structure is the same as her moms i have made at least 6 or 7 girls from them who all turn out to look the same but with different features like eyes nose and mouth. But their sons always come out looking like their daddy no matter how much changing i do to them. its like all the game does is clone the 2 sims and just throw different genetics in to make them appear different

Edit: also Lana i think we will have to use the super computer to change Talula's lifetime wish to whatever we want it to be because with her traits she doesn't get the LTW of being a chef unless u want me to change them

I second Lana's comment, HP. They look very unique and I love the background stories you came up with to match their traits. Horatio reminds me of Sylvester Stallone, only hotter.

Tasia, you're right the game always give mommy's features to girls and daddy's features to boys. It's very annoying and pretty random sometimes, so what you could do instead of doing them with the game geneticizer (or whatever it's called sorry I don't remember) is doing it yourself. Take a child/teenager and look at the father and mother and modify you child features to give him a resemblance with both their parents while being unique.

Good idea for the supercomputer. You'll be able to add their bios too (the one that are finished), the skills they should have, their actual job etc.

Ok Lana i made Leona over and I think i did a pretty good job trying to make her look like her dad. What do you think?

She's really looking more like him now, nicely done I was watching a picture of her dad and I think she could even have her father mouth and nose and looks good and still be like her mother thanks to her eyes. What do you think?

her eyes and her lips are his but i made her nose to be like her moms and her jawline is like her moms also so she has her dads eyes, mouth, and cheeks.... her lips won't show like his unless i make them really thin they they look wonky when she ages up so i kept them kind of thick but they are his lol

She looks gorgeous, better than both of her parents. Cecilia probably goes "Mirror, mirror on the wall..." every night and when it reveals Leona's face, she throws a hissy fit.

Alright I have a hard time comparing with pictures scattered. Could you just make a comparison pic with the four of them, so that i can compare more easily, if you don't mind? That would help me for the feedback.

I don't know what the others think but she does have almost her mother eyes and I still think that she's looking a little bit more like her mum, in both (mouth, face, nose). Though it's not an issue, I like her like that too.

Yeah, she does look more like Cecilia. She's got Raul's eye color and skintone, though. Her lips look like a cross between parents' lips.

Phew, okay, done for the day - just finished up the Revello family and I'm completely burnt out on making sims for today. I'll try to get some in-game pics soon.

Okay got a few in game shots before i go to work so will get some omore of them and the rest of everyone else after i come home Leona and Cecilia are so much alike they are just a perfect mess when out on the town together.

They look great in game, SimGirlTasia. I wonder what Cecilia must be thinking in that third pic...lol. Raul looks really suspicious, like he's just swiped an item from one of his patrons, and Leona looks hot without even trying.

That would probably be good since he must be awfully lonely by himself. Have you thought of were your characters would be living, by the way? I told Lana in the Building Thread that we should have a list of everyone's homes so we know who lives where and what type of place they'd be living in.

Yea i figured he would be lonely also so i decided to make him a wife and two kids who we can implement into his story and they could be like their mother and fathers care takers while they expire and inherit everything they have maybe... also don't have to work so will get more pics as soon as i can

HP, thank you again for those sims, I love how realistic they feel, my favorites being the vargas family (they have that south flavor in them. Just perfect! ) and David sharp. He's so reminding me of someone I know . About him, I'd like to know: is he a native? If so maybe a more spanish/italian name would suit him better. Also, since most of them must have jobs do you already have an idea of what job for who or do you want us to imagine it? Idem for the skills?

A Little update on the Costa family

Those are awesome in game pics, SimGirlTasia. It's nice to finally meet Antonio's family. His wife in particular looks quite realistic and I think we can come up with interesting storylines for them. I LOVE the shots of Talula and Anita together. They look like they're having a blast and would make great BFFs. Dante's so adorable and I noticed that Leona seems to wear the same expression all the time...lol. It's not a bad thing, though. It's just one of those things that make her who she is.

Thanks Charming i also love Talula and Anita together they are such fun especially when they try to entertain one another its so cute.. and i also noticed that about Leona its seems like she doesn't like her pic taken because every time i zoom in for one she always quickly pulls that face like shes saying hey not now lol... glad you like Antonio's family Lana has come up with a great idea for them so i think i'm going to keep his son and let his wife and twin girls become ghosts and keep his son so he can keep their bloodline alive

Nice job on the Ortega family , just some details I had noticed:
- Carlito is dead in the accident, the only left are his wife and childs.
- Could you make his wife more particular? She's got the same kind of nose, lips, eyes (form of the eyebrows especially) that most of the girls have already. I'd like to see not only pretty characters and realistic ones too I'm not saying ugly necessarily, but more unique.

Oh i didn't know Carlito died to but thats ok his wife is just going to be a widow with two kids lol but yeah i can change her i actually have another girl i made for him also so i will post pic of her soon

Ok Lana i been doing some work and here are some ladies to choose from on who will be Carlito's widow they don't have any makeup on and i will finish them when i come home from work tonight..

I like the first one better, but both are nice . Could you maybe use the first one and change the eyebrows? They look really high. And I've noticed that you seem to do turned-up noses for all your ladies could you try something really different?

Oh hey I'm back and wow, lot's of new sims. And wowww, Tasia you are very SPEEDY making sims. I don't think I could ever be like that. I enjoy taking things really slow xD, thats probably really bad...and also because I procrastinate alot ;p And I really like HP's sims, they're very unique...I was wondering, how many families will we have in the hood? I don't want it to be overflowing, because story progression may force families out if it's too overpopulated(EA). BTW, I noticed there is a sim named Camila, and I also created a sim named Camilla. Seems really similar in my opinion xP

I agree with Lia i don't want the town to be overpopulated so if we have to bump some out i'm totally cool with it but i also noticed that the face replacements i use make all the noses kind of look the same its weird even if i try to change it it turns out looking the same as everyone else

As an example, Sunset Valley has approximately 20 families with 51 sims and Riverview 27 families with 60 sims. Since we don't want to have too few families either (that leads to a dying neighborhood after some time) I'm still unsure of how many exactly we'll need. I've got to count to see how much we have for now and I'll tell you what we'll need, approximatively and if we need more kids, teen etc to have a good balance.

That's right, I haven't noticed the Camila thing. Tasia will certainly come up with another pretty name to make up for it .

Lana: i never realized SV and RV had so many people living there i would of never guess that many lol

Lia: I didn't realize you had a sim named Camilla lol i never noticed lol but i can easily change it lol i'm going to name her after my dear friend Maritza.

but i changed her nose and it still looks the same to me what do you guys think?

You're right, the noses do look alike. Maybe you could play around with the Nostril and Bridge sliders a bit more? And oh, Talula's last name is Alvaro.

Charming: yeah i tried the slider but it made her face look wonky and the biggest thing on her was her nose at the time but it is my face replacements it makes the noses and lips all kind of look the same... The lips i can make look different from everyone else but their noses just always look the same to me i will work more on it later today.
