Oh noes! Have you all patched already? Apparently the new patch borks CAW again ...but you should be able to download a new version, I haven't tried it yet so fingers crossed.

EDIT: Nevermind, it's fixed now. Apparently EA said that you have to DL a new version of CAW with the patch but they didn't upload the new version of CAW so people were DLing the old one and wondering why CAW was still borked, good old EA

Your school sounds awesome Hamilton. One of my friends went to a UK school called Summerhill that is apparently run democratically. Sounds like there's some crazy pedagogy over there. (Assuming you're from the UK. Think I recall a UK accent from your simsupply interview.)

Lol yeh i am from the UK, and the 6 years below me at my school have 5 lessons everyday like everyone else in the UK, but because i'm in my last year we only have 3 subjects, and so over 2 weeks i have 25 lessons and 25 free periods, but my free periods are often at the end of the day, so i can just go home really early

Lol, we have some of those democratically run schools here too, where 7 year olds get to choose whatever they want to do. Way too '70's, imo!

I'm definitely glad school's out for me but I do feel a teensy bit jealous of those in Uni, my biggest regret is not going but I'm thinking I might apply as a mature student or do OU when the little one is in nursery.

I'm so spoiled compared to you guys. Ikea is only 15 minutes away. Not good for my finances though, lol! Especially because Mediamarkt is right next to it. That's the Ikea version for technical stuff. Oh, my hands were itching to buy a new camera, but I resisted, lol.

Connor, it's good that their furniture is small. My house is small and that way I can have more stuff, haha. I got 3 tables in Mondriaan colors and this week my friend and I are going to paint one of my walls pink. Lol, I think you would hate it.

I noticed the project is really far along, but I do hope I can still contribute. Building is pretty much all I know how to do in sims. Hello! I've been doing some serious slacking! EEK!.. Actually, my game got hosed back in June with the Ambitions addition, CAW broke, and uploads were zonked... *grr* I fought with it a long time. However, a couple of weeks ago., I got a new hard drive and built my OS from scratch and reinstalled my game, CAW works again, and up/downloads work and I got my store stuff working again. YIPPEE!

As a result, I have not done a darn thing for this project. *oops!* What's left?

For fun, this weekend I started work on 'Santiago Vineyards'. I have Late Night now. It's story is that it was the hacienda for the vineyards - the city sprawl overtook the vineyards which moved someplace else, leaving the old building. Gentrification took over and converted it into a city mansion...

The building is more of a California Mediterrenean style than your Alpine style buildings so I don't know if it will go with this town. I can take some snapshots and post them.

Santiago's vineyards is still under construction, but you can get the idea.


The lot is 20x20 (I think - not looking at it right now) and there is no yard to speak of, However, it has 4 underground basement stories for the nectary and hidden rooms.

my school ended two weeks ago (: whoo! haha. Umm...what else....my grandparents home is flooding in minot north dakota...so they will be moving into our lake place while they re build.
