I offered to recolor/rework/remove store-content whatever is needed..

WOW, thats a bit special!!

yeah i dunno if i should be the one explaining this to you, apparently i have a certain way with words...
basically, we're making a world thats kinda Italian/Mediterranean themed. Theres some of us making buildings and some doing sims, and kiwi_tea making the actual world. so yeah, ur a damn good builder so they figured theyd ask you to make a castle type thing to go with said world (all this was decided before they roped me in) only thing is, its a poor place, so i dunno how ur gonna...poor the place up, if that makes sense. :P

Hey candlelight. Nice to see you here!
I asked Tyu if you could post here, so that we can all hear what your take on the castle is going to be.

You would be a great asset to our group, because your castles are really stunning. The one you're showing us here would look lovely in our world, if you're willing to make it a bit more mediterranean looking.
The only thing I'm not certain about is if the lot would fit in the area we have in mind for it. Kiwi still needs to add the lots there and he's very busy at the moment.
I tried to add a lot from the world editor and the largest one that fit was 50x50.

So, if the white mansion does not fit, would you be willing to build a smaller castle? There might also be a possibility to place lots on each side that fits the castle theme.

Craggles, do you mean that the sims in our town are poor? I'm not sure about that, because some of the houses are pretty expensive.
We might end up having to depreciate some lots with twallans supercomputer, lol!

nooo not like mega poor, but like..i dunno how to word it... old and lived in for years, and Mediterranean. yeah thats a better way of putting it! haha oooops bad wording

Hi, I've adapted the lot:

- palm trees were removed and changed for normal trees
- tiles/stairs at the front of the house were given a more neutral look, however the tiles around the swimming pool are kept traditional
- some windows were changed to "closed windows"

I've also added some pictures (all in one) the rest of the house remained untouched, so no need for showing new pictures.
Hope you all like it so I can upload it to the finished building thread and start with the Spa

Nivaso, that's so beautiful! :lovestruc The way you work with those colors is very amazing!
I'm glad you kept those tiles around the swimming pool.

Craggles: Im not sure if that was a dis or compliment?

Candlelight: i am on my ipod so i will go through and write what i would like to change, and everyone else can also give there input. unless you cant fit it on a 50X50 lot?

So... I started building a house for Jazmin Vasquez. It started out small... see first pic, but then it got to this (pic 2&3). I'm worried it might be a little big for a single girl.
Let me know what you think.

... Please keep in mind that this is just the shell with some minor landscaping.

Hi Ninotchka! It would be so wonderful if you could create a lot for us. It would make our world even more stunning!

You can pick any lot you like, just as long as somebody's not working on it. You do probably need to have the world installed, because the lot sizes are quite small.

Let us know what you would like to build.

Candlelight: Here is a list of things i see that need to be changed, everyone else, please add if you see necessary.

The colors need to be tan's not greys, More Mediterranean, maybe some reds?
New landscaping in the front, so it looks more Unique. (opinions anyone?)
A pool. (please)

candlelight, it's nice to see you here, I love your castles :lovestruc The White mansion is stunning although, I would say that it is a little bit too majestic for our fishtown and I've got the feeling that even downsized it would still feel too much. I've looked your others uploads and I think that a downsized and more colorful version of your candle town uptown would fit better with our theme. Is it something that you'd like to do?

Nivaso, that's gorgeous, I see nothing to change. I can't wait to see the spa.

Sleepy, I'm really liking your start. Maybe make it less symmetrical to make it even more interesting?
Some little things to correct on your map: the stadium is on the business center spot, and the lot by the gym is a residential.

Ninotchka, I'm so glad to see you've decided to join the fun You can pick any building we have left to do that you'd like. We still have some community lots: the hospital and the science center and probably the business center too. We'll also have a pizzeria, the military base and mines a little later because we don't have yet the spots to build it. Otherwise, you can take any residential you'd like.

haha, sorry lana but again, i have to disagree with you, (: hah. I was thinking the castle would be the highlight of the town, like the WOW! feature, ya know? thats why i suggested the castle.

lol yeah it's supposed to be the highlight but I don't know about you but candlelight's uptown is definitely making me make a big WOW feature too and is way more adapted to a small town. I've never ever seen that kind of majestic castle in such a little town, and having even a small castle is already a wow, don't you think?

ooh Lana while ur here, I've kinda lost what I wanted to build for Liliths death spot. What sorta stuff did anyone specifically want in it? cuz I might bash that out tonight :D

True, i just really like the other one. hah. shocking, i like the bigger and flashier one. hahah. (: idk, i also could see that one be more Mediterranean. the other one just looks too.... medieval to me.
