ahh thats grand ta :D
also, this may upset lana, but I got very bored of graveyards and churches
so i started playing with the massive plaza
it uses ambitions (big no no) and the custom rabbithole rug things... BUT i think it's well worth it so far!! I want Lana to make her plaza so i can stop messing with it and liking my own one haha!!

toyou1214 17th Aug 2010 4:42 PM

Rose: housr abd map look good.(:

Miss: im on my ipod and for some reason your pics arent loading, so ill look soon, but im interested to see what you come up withfor the hospital.

Craggles: i like what youve done on the plaza! Looks good.
Oh and thanks for the comment on my house!

sleepyrose 17th Aug 2010 4:47 PM

Hahaha, Craig, did you build that just so you can buldoze it again tonight? It looks really nice, but that's Lana's special spot!
If you're bored, there are still a couple of lots available.

toyou1214 17th Aug 2010 4:57 PM

Yea craggles, you should do something productive.(: haha.

Craggles 17th Aug 2010 5:27 PM

oh okkkkk. What do u guys suggest?

EDIT: There really only were a couple of choices, two to be precise.
I'm gonna play with lot 35, a small park and try make it like an Italian sculpture garden. If it actually turns out like that is another story haha!!

AND just had a thought. I might actually finish everything I said I'd do, and get them outta the way :P

Craggles 17th Aug 2010 5:44 PM

OK its turned into an amphitheatre :P

toyou1214 17th Aug 2010 6:04 PM

cant wait to see it craggles, might be a good idea to finish your buildings. (:

Craggles 17th Aug 2010 7:51 PM

its not bad looking one question though, whats the roofing in the town centre meant to be? I know its not the one I've used on the church, and thats what needs changing haha!
also, I've had a play with killing people and putting Lilith in her little spot, and its not happening I'll just upload the grave and Liliths place as they are. the grave has generic tombs, and Liliths bit has none now ;D

Craggles 17th Aug 2010 9:10 PM

I figured out what the roof was supposed to be and changed it Now I've uploaded the church, the graveyard, and where Lilith died to the finished buildings. And here's what I've been messing about with:

It's meant to be (what's left of) a Roman Theatre. It has no real use except a cool place to have a public wedding... but still, it fits well with the buildings I've already downloaded from here and most Med town's would have one, or the remnants of one.

let me know your thoughts :D

toyou1214 18th Aug 2010 5:00 AM

Craggles, what an excellent idea! it looks fantastic! i love the idea,

sleepyrose 18th Aug 2010 7:31 AM

Craig, that looks really beautiful! :lovestruc What do you think... should we have one on the other side too? That's kind of empty now.

Craggles 18th Aug 2010 11:45 AM

the other side where? like, next to it? Only thing is, there wouldnt have been more than one theatre in a town unless it was a HUGE town. But i could buid some other Roman ruin, I'm in love with Romans...

Also, I got bored again and carried on playing with the big square I'm a bad person. BUT omg it's so cool haha, I dunno if I should put photos up. but then again it could be any generic market square I dont wanna take Lana's spot

Craggles 18th Aug 2010 12:55 PM

I have a major question, do we/ are we having, a nectary? If we are I've just found the perfect spot for it. We'd have to ask Kiwi to whack in a couple of lots where I've placed them. I'm bored ok, my 3 things are finishsed and uploaded, and I dont know what to do with the little theatre now haha!!! Anywho, check this out, what do you think?

This is 2 lots, one 50x50 and one 10x10

The 50x50 I'm gonna make into the nectary house with all the vines etc, but it'll be a private house. The little barn thing on the 10x10 however, I've set as the nectary community lot, and I plan on putting a couple of nectar makers and some barrells/storage racks with some bottles to take :D
And for once I'm not gonna use Ambitions or CC
Oohh I've been meaning to ask, what are we doing about High End Loft Stuff? I haven't really seen it mentioned here but Ive re-textured the bathroom objects to fit in with an Italian house I made ages ago...
What do you guys think?
Can you tell I'm really bored? hahaha

sleepyrose 18th Aug 2010 5:09 PM

Craig, you beat me to it, because I was just looking for a place for you to build the nectary. And I'm very sorry to say that that wasn't the spot I had in mind, lol!
You see, we have a little problem here... I haven't got a clue if kiwi could make it work to place a lot there. As far as I know he's the only one here who *really* knows how to work with caw. Some of the areas might still need work before they are ready to build on. I'm just concerned that if you'll spend all that time on something that's going to look very beautiful, that we might not be able to use it.

As far as I can tell, the place that would be good for the nectary is across the port, on the right side. I'll make a picture for you and look up the lot size.
Another roman ruin might look cool on the other side of the theater. And I just had an idea... do you know the tomb in champs les sims with the hidden garden underneath? I love that place and it takes some time to figure out how to get there. Wouldn't it be cool to have something like that, but smaller, underneath?

About HELS.... I think there will be too many players who don't have it, so we're not using it. But you can put it in as an alternative download.

What I would also like to ask is if you and Tyu would like to join me in testing the game. That's going to take up a lot of time once we're finished building. If we can already spot problems in the completed lots, it's going to save us time in the end. Plus it's fun too, to actually see our world and sims in-game.

Craggles 18th Aug 2010 5:31 PM

Hmmm yeah good point!! Well tbh once we've finished this project I'm gonna just use the world I've been building in but yeah if I have to build another one I don't mind, cuz I really like building nectaries for some reason haha!! If he could put a lot there it'd make my week, cuz this house I've built is beautiful, and I usually don't like stuff I build, but I can't fault it haha!! Ahhh well! and yeah i dont mind making some sort of ruin, but the lots in our edit world are either wayyy to big or far too small lol

Lol! Well I'm happy you're going to use it anyway, once we've finished. And I'm also happy you don't mind building another one.
Hopefully the lot can be added there, because I'd really like to see it. If you say that you like it, then it must be awesome!

Oh, I forgot, there's no lot that really fits the other side. That's also the case with the side where the business center is supposed to go. The lots are too small, or too big.
But I do have this pic for you for the nectary. There might even be room for a barn next to it. Hopefully they others also think this is a good place.
And we still have one residential lot left, in case your interested.

Craggles 18th Aug 2010 6:37 PM

hahaha thats exactly where I put a 50x25 lot to have a look at how it'd fit!! I really hope that I can have it where I've started building it though. I looks more... natural. Grapes and stuff generally grow on hills to get more sunlight, not on flat land. Especially in Italy I'll whack a photo up in a second :D

EDIT: This is why I want it there so much!!!!

IMAGINE the view that house will have once the world is finished!!

And it looks so pretty my game has crashed about 3 times today for some reason so progress is slow. I did have ivy growing up the walls at one point, but gave up on the outside after one crash and did the basics on the inside :D

sleepyrose 18th Aug 2010 6:58 PM

I know, but, irl we don't go mad and wave at God when we want to place grapevines on a slope, lol! :D
Hopefully it will be possible to put a lot up that mountain.

Craggles 18th Aug 2010 6:59 PM

and ooooooookkkkkk I'll have a look at lot 23 and see what I can do :P

Hahahaha you're right Mel, we dont xD

sleepyrose 18th Aug 2010 7:02 PM

Wow! That's amazing!!! How come you can build so fast? It would take me ages to make something like that!
And how did you get ivy up the walls?

Craggles 18th Aug 2010 7:24 PM

Well it's crappy Ivy, you know the walls in WA that have like dirt on the edges? i just made the dirt a green rocky texture, and had it at a couple of corners of the house looked good though!! And fast?! this is slow! I'd be finished if my PC didnt keep crashing haha

toyou1214 18th Aug 2010 10:00 PM

it looks great, but can sims even get up there? its a steep hill, and.

Rose: isnt that were the castle goes?

sorry, no updates, i have not had much time and i have been working on my entry for the TSS challenge, its really starting to irritate me. haha.

Craggles 18th Aug 2010 10:05 PM

Yeah ive tested it. the sims can go pretty much anywhere, which is why i wanted to talk to kiwi. get a lot on there and maybe a road haha!!.
whats TSS?

toyou1214 18th Aug 2010 11:03 PM

oh, sounds good. otherwise i see no concerns for it being there! (:

Thesimsupply.com they have fun challenges, but im not so happy about this one, you have to build homes around bushes, and its pissing me off!

Deluxe Designs 18th Aug 2010 11:34 PM

Hello!!! I'm back from holiday I don't have many updates because i worked a lot on meshing whilst i was away, but i have completed lot number 9. I didn't know what that lot was meant to be, if anything, so i turned the blue lot into a library cafe, here are the pics:

Also craggles i LOVE that nectary!
