I don't mind that you are asking I knew I was a lesbian when I was like in the third grade. But that is also when I discovered, that I hated being a woman. I remember that I saw I walked out of my room without my shirt on. And my mother got mad. Because I didn't feel right. But when I continued to grow, and my brother didn't have breasts. And I did...I was sort of pissed. But I really didn't come out to my family, until I was a Senior in High School. And believe that whole, scenario wasn't a pretty sight.

My mother wasn't very happy when I came out. I come from a religious background. And my mother...Well, she hated the fact I'm a lesbian. But she is slowly coming around, which honestly, is a good thing. My brother is very open to me, wanting to become a male. And my step-dad...Well, he hates homosexuals. So, I'm hated by my step-dad.

I am a lesbian too so u where quite young then about 8 or 9,sorry i dont know the grades cos i am from the uk.i was 11 when i knew there was something diffrent about me.so do you want to be a guy or do u believe you was born in the wrong body? with me i sometimes like to dress up as a guy but i dont want to be a guy,if that makes sense.you are very brave for coming out to your family i have yet to come out to my family because i am scared they will disown me.i am very happy for u that your mum is coming around to you being a lesbian.my whole family hates homosexuals so thats why i cant come out to them but u are lucky that you have ur brother and your mum being ok with u being a lesbian,if u ever need anyone to talk to feel free to come and talk to me if you want

I do believe that I was born in the wrong body. I hardly can stand looking at myself in the mirror. And I keep saying that I only look in the mirror to brush my hair and teeth. Its honestly hard. Because, yes I'm a lesbian, and very proud. But on the other hand, hearing what my grandparents say about homosexuals...Well, that doesn't feel good either I mean..Surely I have some support, but hearing "Fag" all the time by my grandparents, not towards me, because they do not know, but towards others. Now, that makes me nervous to even open my mouth.

And I do hope one day you'll be able to come out to your folks, hun. Its hard to keep that..Within someone. You know? And thank you, hun. You can always message me, and talk if you ever need someone to talk too

I want to start the process of becoming a guy. I am going to have to hear the long lecture, of what will happen if I do, and what will happen to my body, blah blah. I knew I was the wrong gender when I was 9. Maybe even sooner.

I knew when I was about 13 or 14 years old. I am very lucky to have a supportive family, and I might be starting HRT in July or August.
