Watching Rent

Just had a huge dinner, now I'm struggling not to fall asleep over my homework.

I took a little one-hour nap (I assume I did. That, or an hour passed REALLY quickly) and feel much more awake. Now I'm debating whether to do homework or watch movies.

I'm thinking watch movies. I'll do some math afterwards.

Wowee havn't been on here in awhile! I'm back at home (finally!) and about to go out and put my special vote in for the election - can't believe I can vote now!

I'm watching the scariest episode of Supernatural in the world and nearly crying because of it. I'm such a wuss :P

Just came home from grocery shopping, now I'm getting ready to do a Bergman marathon as my homework.

Waiting for my mom to wake up enough to make french toast. Nomm. Thanksgiving dinner is great, but you have to have a good Thanksgiving breakfast too, right?

Just had a healthy lunch (my first proper meal this week, about time!), and now I have to waste an hour before going to watch and discuss movies with my lovely classmates and professors.

Well im on the computer,and drinking water.

It's only the day after Thanksgiving here in the USA, and my dad's putting up the Christmas lights outside. I love the holiday season!

Reading about murder for my tutorial on Monday. Upbeat textbook: "Since everyone must die sooner or later, it follows that every killing is merely an acceleration of death." Gee, that's a real comfort.

So last night, around 10, my dad and I went to Walmart to check out their Black Friday event, as I've never been to one. (Little bit of pre-explaining. Our Walmart shares its lot with a half dozen other stores, so it's a large parking lot.) All but two of the lines of parking were jammed full. It took us twenty minutes to get out of the main lot because everyone was sitting there waiting for a spot to open up. When we finally got in, I ended up holding my dad's hand so I wouldn't lose him in the BIGGEST CROWD I'VE EVER SEEN IN A BUILDING. When we finally got back to electronics, I was laughing. It was solid people in every spot there was to stand. Half the people were shouting, "Where's the line?!" I was afraid to stay in the place anymore because I feared I'd get smushed or lost. It made me wish I was taller so I could see what was going on, and actually breathe comfortably.

Fun times. All I wanted to do was see their deals, but I never laid my eyes on a price tag. Just people. So many people.

Now I'm contemplating how to spend my day. Watching Fairy Tail? Reading? Hmm.

Thinking. Our prime minister and his party have managed to retain power. I have no other choice now but to leave NZ. That may sound over dramatic to some, but there is absolutely no future at home in New Zealand for people like me with this kind of government in power. Back to England I go...

I'm onto (500) Days of Summer now, and I have made myself a cup of tea, so now I'm quoting along with the movie.
