So, anyone signed up for Pottermore early registration? And anyone else wondering exactly what the site's going to be? I almost got in yesterday (was in the process of registering when it closed) and finally got in today, so I'm happy.

I got in at 4:30 AM on the first day registry was open. I'm so hardcore xD No idea what the site is. I hope it'll be good though, I don't want to have stayed up all night for absolutely nothing. It's more a fangirl thing than actually wanting to be in, for me, haha. Maybe this will be good, maybe not.

I wasn't as excited by it as some people are, but I figured I may as well make an account anyway. I know a few people who made one account per day which I think is kind of excessive and ruining other people's chances. I didn't realise it had started until the second day, so that's when I was able to get my account. My username is YewPotion100 which I'm pretty pleased about.

I still haven't received my welcome e-mail, but I know when I do, I'll accomplish nothing for a fairly long while. It's probably best I don't get it for a while :P

Hate to say it, but you probably won't. Only about 1.5% of the 1,000,000 people have gotten access to the site so far and apparently they've been having lots of issues (the Pottermore team sent out 2 batches of e-mail, one Monday and one yesterday.) While I know the site should be buggiest at the beginning, I am kind of wondering if they'll manage to make their October deadline for the public. (I'm not in either, but people have been posting Sorting House stats on tumblr and in forums.)

Well, I got my email today and I'm in now! I'm super excited to be in! It seems very informative and interesting so far.

I envy you so much! They're up to about 10% of beta testers being on the site now; I'm really hoping to get something next week, especially as they said they're going to take a break in sending welcome e-mails after another week or two. (But, being a day 4 registrant, I'll probably have to wait until mid-September or something unless they really start speeding up the number of people they add.)

You should post when you get to the wand and Sorting and stuff, especially about the Sorting Hat quiz and if you think you're in the right House. I'm really eager to find out more about everything!

Yeah, last time I checked there were about 93K people on there. I realize how lucky I am to be on so early. Also, about being a day 4 registrant, they put people on at random. Some people who got in on the 1st day haven't gotten their emails yet, and people who got in on the later days have. So I wouldn't worry about that since it seems to be completely random.

I've been through everything they have to offer so far - not much, as it is only a beta testing. I took my sorting quiz, and I was quite shocked at first. I've always identified as a Ravenclaw, so after answering the questions honestly, I expected to see dark blue and everything. It was hard to determine the outcome from the questions; it was a very good quiz. I ended up in... Slytherin!

I guess I'm not that shocked anymore. I do see how I fit in Slytherin. I did want to be in Ravenclaw (or Hufflepuff) to find out information about them that wasn't in the books. (Of course, there is no way I would ever end up in Hufflepuff - I'm not a hard worker, or any of that. It's probably the last house I'd be in.) I suppose I can always identify as a "Slytheravenclaw" or something along those lines But I can't change what house I'm sorted in now, so I'm hoping for Slytherin to beat Ravenclaw for the house cup!

ETA: It's not buggy from what I can tell, but they do have it down for maintenance right now.

I got my Pottermore e-mail this Sunday. It turns out I'm in Gryffindor , which I was a bit surprised by. Not that I had expected anything in particular. I just hadn't given it much thought before. And I didn't feel like I could rely on the quizes I've done before either, seeing as I had gotten like different results each time (all except Slytherin). It does feel right in a way now though... I like it. And my wand too, I really like what I got there (Cypress, Phoenix Feather, 10 3/4 inches). And I sat with those damn questions forever! I took it very seriously, haha. Same thing with the wand questions.

It's good fun though.

I got in today! I have an elder wand with dragon core; the elder part surprised me, but it's pretty cool that the description says



Also, I wanted a dragon core, which I got, and, most importantly of all, I got Ravenclaw, which I was really hoping for, as I've always considered myself a 'Claw.

Yay, Pottermore is finally open to everyone! I signed in today and I'm already finished with the first book. Can't wait for the next to be released. This is really a nice addition to the fans that loves getting new inside info, and in a more playful way. I loved how the chapters were set up for you to find stuff, make potions, do spells etc. And I was lucky to get into Slytherin (would have signed off it I didn't)!!

I got Slytherin, as I expected, the wand part was interesting though.

Meh. I don't even remember what my wand is. Don't think it's very important, though, since I have yet to see how the different wands affect your proficiency in the available activities.

Got few hundred points from dueling, but I'm kinda bored with Petrificus Totalus being the strongest spell, so I'm off until they release the "second book".

Yeah, but the type of wand you have doesn't really change any features of the site- except for the information written on your profile. The results of using a "surprisingly swishy" wand like yours would probably be the same when using an "unyielding" one like mine.
