This lot was built outside of the AnyGameStarter so unless you have all the expansion packs up to Free Time installed, this lot will crash your game. Sorry for this mishap - teril02

Sears Homes is my series of homes that were designed by Sears, Roebuck and Co. From 1908 to 1940, Sears, Roebuck and Co. issued catalogues with house designs in them. Customers would choose a home and mail their request to the company. The company would then send all the supplies ordered (pre-cut lumber, lighting, doors, etc.) and the customer would build their own home! Now as I've said before I love more simple, classic homes and these are exactly that so you can imagine my excitement upon finding these lots. I was so excited in fact, I ordered three books filled with these homes so be prepared for a lot of homes in this series!

This lot is entitled The Kenfield, first published in 1931. The following is an excerpt from a catalogue describing the lot:

From every viewpoint, the Kenfield reveals the charm of those lovely old Maryland homes which seem literally tied to the ground by ramblers and hollyhocks. Large sunny rooms and numerous conveniences fulfill all the fair promises of the exterior.



This house has:
- 3 or 4 bedrooms and 2,5 baths

- partially furnished (all plumbing, lighting, some electronics, and counters)

All kinds of comments are welcome.

The houseplan is from one of the three books I bought and I have not found it online. So, I scanned the plans for you to see but you can't find them on the Internet.

Please note I did add an ensuite to the master bedroom but if you want to stick true to the plans, it's easily removed. Happy simming!
