Your sims will hate living here. Everything is old, dirty and ugly, but the rent is only §541 - §553. There are 9 studio apartments. If you put a bunch of these together with some trashy alleys and billboards, you can have a craptacular low rent area in your neighborhood.

These are slightly based on reality. There used to be these horrible apartments in my hometown that were probably once decent. They had been the local university's off campus married housing, but had become horribly run down and were later owned by a "slumlord" of sorts. It was sad and depressing to drive by there. There was junk everywhere because there was only one dumpster for all the apartments, and it was always overfilled and surrounded by trash and old mattresses. It was obvious that the slumlord didn't put any effort at all into taking care of the place. I felt really sorry for the people who were unfortunate enough to have to live there. Thankfully a couple of years ago those were torn down and the university built some very nice student housing there.



Your local slumlord will be happy to rent this to your sim. Without any annoying plants to care for, his maintenance should be almost zero.



These are the kind of classy neighbors you can expect your sim to have.


There's really no room to do anything fun except maybe watch TV, although there is a double bed in case your sim meets someone special.
