The Charles is a craftsman-style cottage built with the avowed bachelor or bachelorette in mind. It's so cozy there's not even room for a double bed! it would be ideal for an Unflirty Sim who Dislikes Children or has taken some kind of monastic oath.

This little house was inspired by one in my hometown, and I wanted to get the proportions just right. That means it's a fairly tiny house with only one small bedroom (but TWO bathrooms, oddly enough!). However, part of the downstairs area (where the easel is) could be expanded easily and turned into a master bedroom if your single Sim finds him or herself asking some poor sap to move in.
