Villa Alto is the massive home of the Alto Family from The Sims 3. This is that same home built specifically for Del Sol Valley for The Sims 4!

Over three-and-a-half years ago I uploaded a Sims 4 base-game-only replica of this exact home to ModTheSims. Then Get Famous came out and I immediately thought "this stuff would work PERFECTLY for an updated Villa Alto!" So, I rebuilt the home using items from that specific expansion! I really like the finished-result; I think it looks exactly like how the Alto's would live if they have originated in The Sims 4.

The house is very similar to its Sims 3 counterpart when it comes to the floor plan and general "feel" of the house. The only differences are the change of wallpaper and flooring in some of the rooms, and the landscaping. I decided to make the entryway/second floor landing more symmetrical than what's in the Sims 3 version because it suited my tastes better. It's only an extra square or two bigger than before, but made a huge difference to me. I also added a third bedroom to the second floor and included a guest house to fill up the space of the new, larger yard. The idea behind this was that Nick's brother, Bert, would randomly show up one day looking for a place to stay, so Nick and Vita begrudgingly let him stay in the shed out back. You can remove it if you don't like it, or turn it into something new!

I also decided to change the swatches of furniture and decor items to make the house flow a little better from room to room. Overall, I think this house does a good job of replicating the look of the Sims 3 version from a decade ago, while also bringing it into 2019 with some much needed aesthetic upgrades! The house uses base game and Get Famous. NO CC, and fully play-tested! The white pillar from Get Together was also needed to add trim to the sides of the house, but isn't really necessary. I hope you like this home!
