-When you click on a place where the Sim cannot move, the interaction no longer appears.
-Adjusted the display priority of interactions when clicking on the ground.
-The 5-minute version has been integrated as an add-on file.

This mod adds an interaction that Ask to Wait Here and Wait Here to the menu when click on the ground.
This interaction will cause both the player Sim and the NPC Sim (acquaintance or above) to wait at the location you specified for approximately 1 minute."
You can interrupt a waiting state with Ask to Move interaction that appears on the waiting Sim. These functions are also available Group Action.


This MOD is not suitable for posing because I designed to be used as a standby action in daily life.

  • The wait time is random and ranges from 40 to 60 seconds.
  • Currently played Sim can cancel the wait from the action queue.
  • If the waiting Sim belongs to your Sim's group, you can cancel the waiting state of all Sims in the group by selecting Cancel Standby State of Group from the action menu. That appears also on currently played Sim
  • This does not stop Sims from being autonomous. Actions that can be performed while waiting, such as chatting, will be executed. As a result, the Sims may move around a little. But don't worry, they won't move to greet Sims at the edge of the map.
  • If test cheats are enabled, shift-click on the ground to you can use the Debug Ask to Wait interaction. Please use this function with the understanding that trouble may occur.

Ask_to_Wait_Here_5minutes_Addon
This is an additional file that changes the waiting time to 5 minutes (real time). Please use it together with the Ask_to_Wait_Here file.


I created this because I often found it frustrating that after I command my Sims to Go here interaction, they would move off to talk to unrelated Sims without waiting for my next command, or when as soon as Sims friends met at the bar they split up.
(On the other hand, I don't like to completely constrain Sims or make them lose their autonomy.)

I made this based on the markers feature from the Moschino staff pack.
