This mod curses Rod Humble so that he'll never make it to your front door to deliver that computer.

The Story So Far

Rod Humble paid a visit to Katrina from the Animal Crossing series of Video Games, and she didn't have good things to say about his future. Ever since, he hasn't been able to walk ten metres in his home without getting intimate with the floorboards.

It's Rod's job to show up at properties with a free computer and a copy of The Sims 3. His pager goes off whenever a new player installs Freetime or Apartment Life, and he has to come and make the delivery, or he'll be fired. So really, this is all your fault.

Unfortunately, the hardware required to run The Sims 3 within the universe of The Sims 2 uses secret government technology that is best described as "unstable". Who knows what would happen if it hit the ground at speed. We all know. The title literally describes what happens.

Ironically, Rod cannot trip on stairs. Please provide your own in-universe explanations for this in the comments.

Compatibility notes

This mod adds a global controller object that looks for Rod, replaces him with a Stunt Double (GUID 298C78EE) and throws him on his face. It doesn't modify the original Rod, but it does add a few extra resources to his group. It'll work with other Rod Humble mods, though since all of his deliveries will end in tragedy those other mods will probably be kind of pointless.

Installation

Copy RodGetsHumbled.package into your Downloads folder. That's it.
