Hello and welcome to Disarray Harbor!

Nothing ever seems to happen in Disarray Harbor. The town's claim to fame was almost being demolished to make way for a new highway, but thankfully a better route was discovered just in time to save it from disappearing off the map in such inglorious way. Despite the lack of excitement, the locals seem content living in their own little bubble.
But with more and more bypassers passing through, who knows - maybe one day Disarray Harbor will finally get the recognition it deserves as a hidden gem?

What is this?

Yet another custom neighborhood which I've been slowly working on for the past few months. Unlike my other 'hoods though, this one is not based on an existing one. It's a project where I just went with whatever came to mind, which surely had its flaws as at first I struggled with figuring out what I wanted it to be and which direction to take. Eventually, it evolved into some sort of a final destination for several families and sims I created for various unfinished projects of mine (it really seems to be like a pattern thing for me to mention my neverending unfinished projects by now lol). Even the name of this town came from an old idea of mine to recreate and put in one place all the families I've ever made in over fifteen years of playing the Sims series (yes I do remember them all, thank you). And since I partially brought that idea to life in Sims 3 (which is a topic for another day probably), I decided to make this town specifically for the families created for machinimas and novels.

Any plot?

Nope, not this time. My approach to this project was to keep things as chill as possible, so I chose to focus on creating different relationship dramas and call it a day. You'll only find love affairs, parenting issues, money problems, etc. All of which can be explored through bios, family albums, and Sims relationships. It's as simple as that.

Technical stuff:

- There are 57 residential, 1 apartment and 13 community lots. The majority were created by larsson1970 and belong to their American Way and American Avenue series (some of them got slight cosmetic changes, mostly for the sake of making the 'hood CC free), the rest were either based on Maxis builds or created by me from scratch (I shared some those here);

- There are 19 families living in Disarray Harbor;

- There are some randomly created NPCs, but I tried to keep their number as low as possible;

- I'm not sure if the whole town is playable without the camera mods, so I would recommend you to have some;

- The base was a custom terrain map created by me;

- All families have their starting time set at 5 am on Monday;

- The empty version (without any residents and NPCs) is provided if anyone needs one;

- It's not BGC and requires you to have all the EPs and SPs;

- This neighborhood is completely CC free.

Issues?

- I guess have to mention this every time I share a custom 'hood, but since my game isn't in English there is a chance that you'll meet NPCs with their names being a little funny, but this can be easily fixed via SimPE or SimBlender, so nothing too scary;

- Not exactly an issue, but something to keep in mind: the empty version is slightly different from the inhabited one in terms of hood deco (rocks and some deco near the beach area, to be specific) because being the genius I am I placed some of it after creating the families. Again, not a big deal, but just something I wanted to address to avoid any possible questions.

Special thanks:

- To Larsson1970 for their amazing lots;
- To TwoJeff for Sim Blender;
- To Mootilda for HoodChecker and Lot Compressor;
- To BO for No Sim Loader;

Have a nice one!
