By now you already know the historical background of these clothes, so I’m not going to repeat them.
As I said before I did not make an history with these pictures, but I guess you can make one yourself just by looking at them…

Looks like the sisters are about to leave for the ball… mother is sure hopping they get nice callers. It is really expensive to keep two girls with a widow’s income.
