It was a real pleasure helping tammeke fix up her really cute retro hair mesh, and it struck me as I was testing it how adorable it would look with some new, non-Maxis textures.

So, while I never thought I'd do so for anyone's meshes but my own, I went ahead and handpainted some new textures for tammeke's mesh which I'm really quite pleased with!

These are recolours, not a new mesh - you will need to go and download tammeke's mesh too, for these to work in your game!

The colours I have made...

Binned:
  • Black
  • Dark Brown
  • Light Brown
  • Medium Brown
  • Red
  • Blonde
  • Platinum Blonde

Unbinned (shows up under custom):
  • Grey
  • White
  • Platinum blonde with pink tips (my personal favourite)

These all work for young adults, adults, and elders, using the same textures/colours for all... No grey elders (if you want grey elders, use the grey or white recolours!) here, as my sims like hair dye. The non-matchy younger ages have been removed, so you won't get any useless hairs spamming up your younger ages.
