3rd Gen Miranda Class Remodel- With Soyuz Class Variant

The Miranda class is a very versatile, reconfigurable design. It uses many of the same components as the Constitution class refit, as the Miranda project was developed paralell with the Constitution class Refit project. Its production began in the 2260's and continued into the late 2360's, when the Miranda class began to be phased out by the Akira and Steamrunner classes. Miranda class starships were variously designated light cruisers, heavy cruisers, fast cruisers, or destroyers, depending on armament and manuverability. By the later 24th century, most were relegated to transport, scout, or science vessel duties.

The Soyuz class is very similar to the Miranda class. It uses many of the same components as the Miranda class on a slightly modified Miranda class spaceframe. The Soyuz class is very obviously a science vessel/explorer, it has several large external sensor pods. Its production run began in the mid-2260's, contemporary with the Miranda class, but ended in the late 2280's when when it was phased out by the Oberth class.

Both ships are built on 5x4 lots and come fully furnished. The Miranda class can accomodate a crew of 12, the Soyuz class can accomodate a crew of 19-20.
