IMPORTANT PLEASE READ: I've been receiving many complaints about this not working, or no difference being seen. I completely agree with these claims. With more recent patches and updates the glitch I was exploiting to make this happen was fixed. Unfortunately this means that this "makeup" will no longer work. I have tried many many times to make it work, but with no success. So if it happens to work for you, then you are lucky. But if it doesn't, I can't fix it, sorry!

Okay, so basically I stumbled upon this idea when I was trying my hand at default skintones. I figured it looked nice. Then the other day I was looking in the Sims 3 help forum and someone asked if they'd seen this before, and I said I had, and after my reply someone asked if it was possible to make it into downloadable content. And that was my cue to get out there and make it!


It gives the lashes much more body and darkness. Great for gothic sims, or dramatic makeup styles, instead of drawing them on with eyeliners.

I will call it mascara because it looks like the sim is wearing a large amount of mascara.

Let me explain some things, so that no one gets confused about this.
IT'S IMPORTANT YOU KNOW THIS:
THIS IS NOT RECOLORABLE. How I wish it could be, but it can't. It is IMPOSSIBLE at the moment, so please do not ask if I can make it recolorable.
The mascara is an "eyeliner" an "eyeshadow" or a "face mask". (Meaning it shows up in those categories.)
They are layerable in that sense, that you can choose the eyeliner version at the same time you have the eyeshadow version on.
It works just like any other make-up, as soon as you click on it it's there, and when you're not using it, it's not on the sim. IT IS NOT A DEFAULT REPLACEMENT.

Sorry for all the caps, but I just want to avoid people reading over all of this and then asking the question later.



I have included three versions, and as mentioned above they are an eyeliner version, an eyeshadow version, and a facemask version, so this doesn't limit you to not using other make-up with this, because personally I hate that.

They appear in (as mentioned above) the eyeliner category, the eyeshadow category, and the face mask category.

This works toddler through elder. Female AND male. (Hey you know never know lol)


Coming soon will be mascaras that include eyeliners and a bunch of wonderful combinations.
