What This Mod Does

This is a tuning mod that does two things. Firstly, this mod increases the amount of food servings in Bird Cages, Bird Trees and Terrariums a Minor Pet can eat before the food run outs and you have to fill it again. Secondly, this mod increases the amount of time it takes (in hours) for the Minor Pets enclosure to start getting dirty while also disabling the enclosure increasing in dirtiness everytime your Sim "uses it".

Specifics Regarding The Different Versions of this Mod

This mod comes in several different versions to suit your preferences, which are as follows:

7 day version - This version will increase food servings per fill from 4 to 28 (spanning approximately 7 days) and increases the time taken in hours for the enclosures to increase in dirtiness from 3 hours to 168 hours;

31 day version - This version will increase food servings per fill from 4 to 124 (spanning approximately 31 days) and increases the time taken in hours for the enclosures to increase in dirtiness from 3 hours to 744 hours;

365 day version - This version will increase food servings per fill from 4 to 1460 (spanning approximately 365 days) and increases the time taken in hours for the enclosures to increase in dirtiness from 3 hours to 8760 hours;

9999 day version - This version will increase food servings per fill from 4 to 39996 (spanning approximately 9999 days) and increases the time taken in hours for the enclosures to increase in dirtiness from 3 hours to 239976 hours.

NOTE 1: YOU MUST FILL THE MINOR PETS FOOD IN THE CAGE/TREE/TERRARIUM ONCE FIRST BEFORE THE MOD CAN TAKE EFFECT (E.G. THE ONE FOOD FILL LASTING FOR 7 DAYS AFTER THE FILL). OTHERWISE, THE MINOR PET WILL SIMPLY STARVE TO DEATH!

NOTE 2: This mod compliments Gobot101s Minor Pets Won't Run Away With Long Life mod: http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=459699 well in that Gobots mod doesn't actually increase the starve threshold, so if you don't feed your Minor Pets within a few days, they will die. But this mod is a work-around solution to have both mods running at the same time, which don't conflict where you can have (subject to your choices in mod versions) both Minor Pets with long lives (9999 days: Gobots mod) AND food that can last up to 9999 days, with clean enclosures at the same time (this mod)

Compatibility

This mod was made with the latest 1.26 patch but in order to get proper use out of the mod, you'll need to have the Pets expansion pack so you can actually catch, keep, store and maintain/look after Minor Pets in the first place.

This mod edits the BirdCage, TerrariumLizard, TerrariumRodent, TerrariumSnake and TerrariumTurtle XML files and will conflict with any other mod that edits the same 5 XML files.

Installation

Simply drag and drop/cut & paste/copy & paste the .package file into your Mods\Packages as normal.
