Today we're making a return trip to Tennessee for another home inspired by one in a music video; today's home is a vernacular farmhouse from Tennessee dating back to the later Victorian era, as seen in the music video for Carrie Underwood's song 'Blown Away'.

Originally I had a bathroom between the two bedrooms but the fireplaces caused a lot of grief so I had to remove it. While a lot of you would have chosen the bathroom over the fireplaces, I chose the fireplaces and so had to find other ways of getting around the dilemma. So it was off to CFF to get some ideas. Soon the idea for the extending out the back of the house and up in to the attic were settled upon. This allowed for two full bathrooms and an extra bedroom which I have currently set up as an office.



The home is built on a 30 by 20 lot costing 46,362 Simoleons furnished and 35,072 Simoleons unfurnished. I did try to stick to base game only content but decided upon some windows and décor items from University Life and a door and some décor items from Ambitions, both of which are easily replaceable if you don't have them installed.
The house has 2 or 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a lounge/parlour and a kitchen-dinner. To keep costs down I kept the garden quite plain, which I felt was quite appropriate considering that the real house is a farmhouse.



I hope y'all will appreciate another little taste of rural Tennessee.
I'd also like to thank those that helped me out over at CFF; it's been a while since I closed the thread, so forgive me for not remembering which of you it was that contributed opinions and ideas.
