This lot contains several build items from Get To Work.
QuaffleJinx102 suggested that I "detach" the cottages in the back of Creole Court . Right after, I heard about our extra 15 lots coming in Newcrest and knew that those of you who love the NOLA style would need extra housing. I did 5 lots that really evoke the flavor of a New Orleans neighborhood called Fauborg Marigny. It contains a mix of creole and shotgun houses as well as Schiro's Bed and Breakfast, a local fixture.
The hood I placed these in has the same number and sized lots as one of the new ones, so If you would like to use these as a set, you have two options. Refer to the map for lot placement. The lots are all shells, waiting for you to place the interior walls and furnish to your liking.
Each lot needs to be downloaded individually from the file tab. Inside the 7zip you will find files with extensions .bpi, .blueprint and .trayitem. These go in your Tray folder. Place the lot from inside the lot in build mode with bb.moveobjects off . Don't forget to check the "Include Custom Content" button under ADVANCED on the left side of your library. FM 2 is CC free but the others have a smattering.
FM 1 is more or less a copy of the back of Creole Court with two attached units. FM 2 is a stand-alone Creole cottage and would make a good starter house.
FM 3 is a makeover of the existing shotgun shack in the style of one of the more frequently photographed houses in NOLA.
The lot where FM 4 is placed also had a shotgun shack, so I scooched it over, made it a camelback and was able to fit another one along side.
Moving up the sidewalk, there are two creole houses attached to Schiro's, one of which is a duplex. These are in the more simple style that comes right up to the street. Can you imagine living in something that narrow? But I assure you, these are based on actual properties.
IMPORTANT! If you want your lot to look just like the pics you need to manually download the following files and install them in your mods folder:

About Me
My lots are built to be functional in-game.
My lots are built to be played in cut-away view.
While building my lots, I aim for a clean, crisp appearance while maintaining visual interest and good sight lines.
No filters, no photo actions. What you see is what you get.
I can do Maxis-match but I usually prefer to recreate something in real life.
Which is weird because I generally avoid English and RL images in Sim clothing and decor.
I had a lot more verbiage describing my philosophy of Sim-architecture and ended up sounding absolutely insufferable so to paraphrase Coco Chanel:
before leaving the house, a lady should look at the accessories and remove one mirror.
No restrictions on TOU. If you claim my stuff as your own or try to monetize it, you have bigger problems than I do.
