I used an online color randomizer to choose a color for Sims-Online's Solid Color Challenge, and it spat out a lovely lavender hue. And I learned instantly that purple is the perfect color to roll for furnishing, but torture for building! The challenge says if an item doesn't exist in a color, your house has to do without, but when that color is things like windows or stairs...well...so there are some whites here and there, as white is technically composed of all colors and is the light-end basis for value swatches for every spectrum hue. The end result looks a bit like a rave house, which almost necessitated a modern building style. It has beds for two adults, two children, and a toddler. There's also a bar, an outside dining area, four lounge areas, a home office, and a master suite.

Please note that the walled area that is cut off in the basement-level floorplan image is simply decorative underground pool tiles, and not part of the floorplan itself or usable by Sims.
