Welcome to Flamingo Heights! Featured here is lot number 6 - The Oasis

Hey Simmers! It's been a little while, but I'm back again with another new home build. This is The Oasis. Part of my Flamingo Heights MCM neighborhood themed after the 1950s and 1960s. This lot is a Googie styled MCM home with very unique features in the primary architecture. Googie style was considered the most eccentric style of architecture during the 60s and I find it very fascinating. The exterior of the home is made up with several pillars that feature glass along the rooflines and around the windows, which accent the home very well in my opinion. The home's interior is done in a beautifully styled Moroccan theme, which is present in nearly every room of the house itself. Themed homes were another popular feature during this era of architecture, and many homes would have themes from other cultures and countries. The Moroccan theme would've been considered both elegant and exotic at the time. This is a two bedroom, each with their own bathroom. A full kitchen and dining area and the living room space is the largest area featuring Moroccan styled archways to walk between rooms. Even though Googie style was considered more Space-Age, it wasn't uncommon for these kinds of homes to have a different theme on the interior as well. Sometimes these homes featured a different theme in every room according to the personalities of the people who lived there. The home also features a large patio area complete with a pool and a hot tub - ideal for the desert dwelling Sims. This home was built with the moveObjects cheat on and with all packs.
