- After re-assign lot type to 'apartment' and move in your household, use a cell phone to call off/limit number of roommates. Go to your sims cell phone in 'inventory' tab and follow these steps

> Click 'Roommate Services'
> Choose 'Disable Roommate Services' to keep the apartment only to your household.
> Or choose 'Max Number of Roommates' to limit how many other Sims you like to have sharing this apartment with you.
The Number of Roommates could be set from 1 to 8 roommates. But keep in mind that you need to provide enough number of beds for your sims and all of their roommates.
