I wanted to have a barber in my game but I couldn't find anything in web that I'd fancy enough. So I created my own! I remember that lot from "The Sims 3: Ambitions" DLC called "Barney's Salon and Tattoo". I always hated this lot because it was setting itself in every new savegame in every new started city to play. And it never fitted nicely in the game so I always ended up deleting it.
Now?
I am looking at it from a diffrent angle. Maybe the original colors are not perfect but I saw a potential in that lot. That's why I chose it to rebuild and renovate it into a barber shop finished and polished with my own ideas in "The Sims 2". And I'm sharing it here for you because maybe someone would like it.

It's not a corner lot becasue it doesn't needs to be, but it will look the best on a corner of a street in my opinion. You can also decorate it with world editor objects to make it look nicely and fit it in your neighbourhood if you wish. For instance something like this:




Lot description:
"This old, industrial building was standing in the city for a long time. Then came Tom and bought the place. He made a barber there with the world's best professionalists working in here. Nowadays there is still barber with additional services that sons of Tom are carrying for this day and many others. So if you want a profesional haircut there is no better place to visit."

Mods I recommend to use with this lot:
(They are not needed, but that might help with proper working of things on this lot or with gameplay.)

- Shiftable Everything (I used this mod a lot to make this lot detailed. Having it in your 'Downloads' folder might help with proper work of furniture on this lot.)

I used cheats to build it and I tested it so everything should work fine.

I didn't use any custom content to build this.

I built this in "The Sims 2: Ultimate Collection", so I don't know how it will work with other versions of the game.
