More Romantic Interactions V2

An early Happy 16th Birthday to The Sims 3!! To give it something fresh and new I've brought a bunch of new romantic interactions for you to enjoy in your game!

Please read the description before downloading!

A quick note as well
There is still a lot of content and features to be added to the mod, and although it is fully functional as it is (so your sims won't go giving boxes of chocolates to strangers!), there are still a few missing voice lines, a couple placeholder animations, and all rejections use EA rejection animations.

Mod Info

• This mod was built and tested with game version 1.69, but should work with v.1.67 as well.
• What type of mod is this? - This a pure script mod that adds 20 new romantic interactions to the game. This can go in the packages folder.
• Animations - All new animations made by me unless stated otherwise.
• Translations - This mod is currently only supported in English.

If you are using NRaas Woohooer, there is a compatibility file provided with the mod that should go into your overrides folder.

Interaction Info

New social interactions (found under Romantic...)

• Frisky Kiss: Becomes available when the conversation state is Very Alluring. Only for young adult - elder, and the sims need to have kissed in order for it to show up.

• Intimate Hug: Available in any conversation state. Sims need to be partners in order for it to show up.

• Kiss Cheek: Available in any conversation state. This interaction has separate animations for each gender, but in the case of partners of the same sex, the animation gender role will be determined according to the sim's gender preference (higher preference for same gender than other partner's preference will result in the feminine animation for the actor and lower will result in masculine), however this can be set to randomized in the settings. This interaction will only succeed if the sim is at least friends with the other sim.

• Passionate Kiss: Becomes available when the conversation state is Very Alluring. Only for young adult - elder, and have to be partners.

• Cuddle: Available in any conversation state.

• Goose: Becomes available when the conversation state is Very Alluring unless the sims are romantic interests or partners, in which it will always be available. If the convo state or relationship is high enough sims can goose another sim back. Only for young adult - elder.

• Kiss Forehead: Available in any conversation state. This interaction will only succeed if the sim is at least friends with the other sim.

• Kiss Neck: Becomes available when the conversation state is Very Alluring. Sims need to have kissed in order for it to show up.

• Kiss Hand: Available in any conversation state. This interaction will only succeed if the sim is at least friends with the other sim.

• Peck Kiss: Available in any conversation state. Sims need to have kissed in order for it to show up.

• Tender Kiss: Available in any conversation state. Sims need to have kissed in order for it to show up.

• Smooch: Becomes available when the conversation state is Very Alluring. The sims need to have at least 60 relationship points in order for it to succeed. Can also act as a first kiss.

• Spin and Kiss!: Available in any conversation state. Sims need to be partners in order for it to show up.

• Tease: Becomes available when the conversation state is Very Alluring unless the sims are romantic interests or partners, in which it will always be available. Sims need to have kissed in order for it to show up.

• Take Shower Together: Available in any conversation state. Both sims' hygiene bars need to be low enough for them to be able to shower together unless the target sim is outside of the household, which then they can shower whenever. Only for sims aged young adult -elder and have to be partners. The interaction can be selected directly from a shower too.

• Give Box of Chocolates: Available in any conversation state. Sims will need a box of chocolates that can be bought from the store in their inventory for the interaction to show up. After the interaction ends a notification dialog will appear stating what the sim said. Big thanks to all the people who shared their responses for the interaction! See all responses below:

• Share Piece of Chocolate: Interaction from the box of chocolates, the sims have to be romantic interests or partners for it to show up. Sims can also eat a piece just for themselves.

• Cuddle Together On Lap: Only available if the sims are already cuddling together on a sofa or in a hot tub. Sims can do a passionate kiss as a sub interaction too, but they need to have kissed in order for it to show up.

• Propose To On Couch: Only available if the sims are already cuddling together on a sofa (not available in the hot tub). For it to show up, the relationship of the two sims needs to be at least 80, or if they are attracted to each other then only 50 points. Only for young adult - elder.

• Kiss From Behind: The target sim needs to be sat down for the interaction to appear and the two sims also need to be in a romantic relationship.

All interactions should be autonomous apart from the chocolates related interactions, but I have not tested thoroughly. They also use EA animations for the rejections except for Give box of chocolates and Goose (uses a placeholder though).

I do want to give a note again that I have modified the seated cuddle system so my seated interactions can work properly. Class names that were replaced are listed under conflicts.

New Moodlets

When a sim is gifted a box of chocolates they will get a simple new moodlet named "Chocolates!", it lasts for 5 hours and provides 20 additional mood to the sim.

• Can only be bought from the store or in buydebug mode.

• Circle LOD0 - 116 poly count
• Circle LOD1 - 2 poly count
• Heart LOD0 - 256 poly count
• Heart LOD1 - 2 poly count
• Square LOD0 - 78 poly count
• Square LOD1 - 2 poly count

Ring Box (prop)
• LOD0 - 200 poly count

All textures and meshes are my own except for the ring box, which is just a re-mesh but uses the default ring box texture.

The assets file provided with the mod is required for the items to appear in your game.


Conflicts & Known Issues

This is a pure script mod, so conflicts are very unlikely. However, the following EA class names have been replaced:

- CuddleSeated
- CuddleSeatedKiss
- CuddleSeatedMakeOut
- MakeMoveSimA
- MakeMoveSimB
- StartSeatedCuddleA
- StartSeatedCuddleB
- CuddleSeatedWooHoo

This mod does conflict with NRaas Woohooer, but as long as you install the compatibility file, the mods will work together.

Mods that alter these specific classes will conflict but the tuning files (not ITUN) from these interactions should still work fine.

Sometimes in the seated interactions sims will be a bit too far apart when kissing.
