While the Nintendo 3DS version of The Sims 3 did a reasonably good job at using assets, objects, and textures from the PC version, it was not a particularly good game as a whole. It was at best a tech demo, and at worst shovelware, and it only had a total of 2 community lots in the entire game.

So here's a reconstruction for the computer version of The Sims 3 of one of those 2 lots, namely Industrial Center (external link), which was a market square of sorts with a diner, a club, a gym, an art gallery, and a furniture store. So now the lot can be experienced without needing to play the 3DS version of the game, as well as with better graphics and from more camera angles.

———Lot details———
• Size: 35x35
• Furnished: §126,631
• Unfurnished: §54,913
• Default lot assignment: Hangout

———Objects———
• A diner rabbit hole.
• A guitar.
• A "Whack-a" game.
• A dumpster.
• A parking spot.
• A garbage can.

The gym:
• 5 treadmills.
• A stereo.
• 2 showers.
• 2 toilets.
• 2 sinks.

The art gallery:
• Various wall decor and fenced-off exhibitions.

The nightclub:
• A Showtime-type stage.
• A Showtime-type spectator standing spot.
• A TV.
• A stereo.
• A couch.
• A juice bar.

The furniture store:
• 5 Into the Future-type sales stands.
• A "Consignment store"-type cash register.

———Notes———
• Among the many things missing in the 3DS version, was roofs. This meant that the gym and the art gallery did not have roofing in the original game. So I decided to get slightly creative with this reconstruction's roof designs.
• In the original, the club and the furniture store were rabbit holes. Since no such rabbit holes exist in any expansion pack of the PC version, I saw opportunities to add some regular functions inside them that more or less fit the buildings' original purposes.
• The window decors of the furniture store had to be fenced off, since during my tests the NPCs would constantly complain about routing errors, in part also since Moveobjects was needed in order to get the windows to anywhere near the level of clutter they had in the original.
