Update: 5 More + 20 Recolors of Maxis Original Bedding

Greetings to All,

I have brought to you a rather nice lot of recolors of the Maxis Off-White/Beige Jacquard bedding created from the original base game content. I did not check NL above, as I have not loaded my EP yet, but they were used in TS2 with UniEP. These were created using the newest Beta version of SimPE (v48c) with the newest version of the Color Enable Package - CEP3 (v3.1). You will need the CEP to use these recolors in your game. All Credit for the wonderful tools that made these downloads possible, belong to Numenor, RGiles and Quaxi.

This is my favorite bedding set, but I wanted some additional colors to use and to share with everyone here. I tried to offer colors that I thought were needed in the game and that were not restricted by bold patterns. I think they have just enough texture to be appealing and useful. These of course will show up marked as custom content. You will find them with all the beds, both twin and double, in the Comfort category.

There are 20 packages in all and each one is named by their color and zipped into one file for convenience. Once they are unzipped, it will be easy to extract just the ones you want - some or all. They need to go in your Downloads folder.

Edit, Monday Oct 10: I wanted make special mention that Windkeeper, has two sets of 'Perfect Match' drapes that will use all custom recolors of the Maxis bedding, as well as the original Maxis content. They are here at TSR. There is a double-wide, long drape and a single-wide, shorter length drape, both straight and diagonal versions. You need all 4 files for both sets of draperies to work in your game. I put some in a dorm room last night and it really makes a nice set - I also used her improved comfort (low cost!) Soma sets, which made decorating so easy.

Inge Jones has also made a new mesh for sets of drapes and blinds that function to open and close, there are several lengths here at her site, Simlogicial and some striped recolors have been made by Ailias here.
